Do not reset power with Renegades
Bungie with all the negative feedback around power grind and progression, and the game, I beg you do not reset power with Renegades. Resetting power will wreck whatever community you have left.

4 RisposteHow did Bungie manage to employ a group of developers that have no idea what the player base wants in Destiny 2. The enjoyment of the game is gone. The player base is leaving and Bungie just keeps hammering the players that are left with miserable updates , bugs and nerfs. You guys better start looking for new employment because this ship has sunk.

1 RispondiI'm burned out on Edge of Fate in part because of the grind, I got to LL360 and by that point I'd mostly had my fill... Well, had my fill of Solo Ops, since I can't really do Fireteam Ops anymore... I'd really rather not have my power reset all the way back to LL200, I'm not emotionally attached to my Light Level or anything like that, I just don't want to start that same grind again from scratch. Here's the one concession I'll make: If the Legendary campaign gets us from LL200 to LL400 (Or something like that), that might be okay. But I don't want to do the Solo Ops Salt Mines again.

Yeah I'm not doing that 450 grind again I sit at 520 something and just play to spin my wheels.. they need to drop us that have hit 450 maybe down to 450.. put some meaningful content to play to grind. I know that's wishful thinking.hopefully as the streamers are calling it Bungie pulls the emergency lever and quick

2 RisposteWe hear you So we are not resetting power rank in Renegades Instead, we are just adding 550 levels, and you will need to get to 1050 to start earning Tier 5 armor and weapons again

Power grind is the new content, resting it is all they have to offer. Renegade new content will last a few days at best.

I want my legendary pre edge of fail weapons, we don't want sunset our weapons.

Not having a reset may help. It would delay the rapid decline in participation. But it definitely will not solve the problems introduced this season. If this was D3 everyone would still be playing D2. That said, I am now curious if D1 player count increased…

1 RispondiThe power reset is not too bad but the grind is...kill the delta BS.... start tuning things one or two points at a time not heavy over swings... most of us saved up engrams over the season farming resets for multiple perks anyway I genuinely miss that it just needed better focus options... Once it's available tier upgrades on gear fixes a lot of problems as long as it's not implemented in some stupid way.... Deltas if anything should be optional with 1:1 engram drops ie -10 is +1 ECT... It makes sense to me anyway...

They obviously going to bring are all of light level back to 200 which sucks and what till everyone complains 🤣🤣😂 this community always get mad with everything first Bungie does Sometimes it’s a W but then when it’s a L everyone complains and wines It’s Time for Sony to help Bungie and I know that everyone wants NetEase to help Bungie I disagree on that because the only thing it that if they acquired Bungie the monetisation will be very bad since it’s obviously a Chinese mobile game company

Doesn't bother me. Now I can play destiny 2 and play other games. Personally I disliked destiny 2 few times. When they vaulted content and and certain things in final shape but with edge of fate. I don't see any urgency to increase my level. I can take my time.

1 RispondiI agree. Don't reset us. And I think it's very likely that the last remaining players will be demotivated by this. They'll leave too. At the same time, I have to be realistic about it. Like others in the thread already said, they MUST do it because this is the only thing they have left. All they're doing now is just farming player time off of whoever remains playing. To what end, I don't know.

They will lose so many people if they reset power lol. If they were looking for a big red button to kill the game, resetting power is the way to do it.

I've just got to 450 so i can now farm some tier 5s (you know, the carrot on the stick). I can honestly say after 6k hours in this game, if they reset I'll be done. No big announcements or posts on the forum - I'll simply just not play anymore. Whoever thought this grind was a good way to retain player needs to look at themselves in the mirror. There is simply no fun here at all.

1 RispondiThey need to go back to the old system, increase the level each season. Even if it is 100 levels, like in the past where it was something you could do but not required.
