For me, I mostly play this game for PVP. Trials was a something I looked forward to and usually would run solo and reach lighthouse flawless 7-0 run weekly.
Until recently with some neglected changes where I at this point have no desire to continue to play as running seems to bring in some bizarre matchmaking where I en up having to carry 2 teammates at 0.5KD while my enemy team will have 2 decent players.
Sometimes that switches around and some poor soul on the opposite team has the same experience I just had.
Also to chuck on top, even if I haven’t gone flawless I end up going against flawless duo teams who are both running 2.0KD+ and top 2# ELO… how fun.
I actually would prefer having games where the full team are a similar level to me where it remains challenging but I’m playing with similar quality people.
Comp doesn’t seem to have this problem, not sure why trials does.

2 RisposteWelcome to the club man, I want to farm that Auto rifle but the game thinks I’m some god and need to carry almost every game. I had a game where a guy basically got a 0.1KDA, no kills, 1 assists. I’m pretty sure he was feeding because he’d be the first one to die everytime and ran in by himself. Reported him anyways for sabotage 💀

Modificato da Manic: 9/13/2025 8:15:00 PMComp matchmaking is ladder. Trials is all random connection based. It should stay that way.

pvp in destiny has tanked ever since EoF because they added gear advantages to everything now because of gear tiers you're permanently handicapped in destiny pvp nowadays, for most players
