My favorite character is Sailor Mars.
As a child I wanted to be like her. LoL
It was also that show that kinda helped me realize I'm Genderfluid, but that's a discussion for another time.
The show is fairly old. It was a bit old when I was a kid, but it's endearing.

Haha, Rei/Sailor Mars is a bit too much of a bully for my tastes. It's, like, even when Usagi is nice to her, she finds some way to turn it into an argument. I do really like how she has powers even outside of her Sailor Guardian powers, though. That said, I definitely don't dislike her. It's very clear she's not mean for the sake of being mean, but rather because she seems to be sort of embarrassed of herself? She doesn't seem to like showing any hint of vulnerability, which means she can't ever accept a sincere compliment, or show herself to be genuinely interested in anything--she has to be strong, and above it all. Which, is kind of an endearing trait, but very much in a "I hope she grows out of this" kind of way. Oh yeah, I think the show predates me by a few years. I'm actually a bit surprised, because there have been a few things that have felt like very modern superhero tropes. One key example I remember is when they were fighting Jadeite, and he's sending those planes after them. Sailor Mars was just about ready to blow one of them up, and then Luna jumps in and is like "Stop! You can't go around causing wanton property damage!". Aside from Sailor Moon, that's a trope I've only ever seen in much newer superhero shows, like Ben 10: Omniverse, or that one episode of Amphibia.
