Titans only viable build is consecration on Prismatic.
It was your whole marketing point for Final Shape.
It is THE ONLY ABILITY that is not gimmicky on Prismatic.
Drengr's lash & Unbreakable are not viable or practical in most PvE content.
Knockout is essentially a must have or the fragment.
Diamond lances are good but requires a strong ability to be paired with...
Enter Consecration... And now you're nerfing it for the 1 class that NEEDS the most help.
I'm a Warlock main and this class is barely touchable.
The Exotic Class Item is a joke compared to Hunter options, and doesn't even compete with Warlock.
The base abilities (Grenades, melees) are okay but Titan doesn't have much synergy or ability refund to justify using any of it.
Solar Titan gets the 1 melee charge so it's very punishing for non-Final Shape Players & punishing for Pure Subclass Enjoyers.
Walk this change back. Consecration is literally ALL they got. (Even Datto says so)

You can’t say consecration will be useful before the nerf comes in or that unbreakable will be bad before the buff has been introduced.

Should’ve just been a prismatic change but nonetheless still a good change. I will never ever be that blind to not admit how busted prism consecration is. Walking nuke with just aspects and a melee… To be honest is needs further adjusting too, frenzied blade + consecration is just too unhealthy for end game pve. They missed a great opportunity to put in banner of war for prismatic tho, still make Titan a fantastic melee class, just not a put on consecration and win the game class

Oh look, another person claiming this change will ruin a class when in reality it’ll probably have a negligible effect until they touch the scaling ignition damage. You have NUMEROUS build available, and not just on prismatic that are not only potent, but viable in most endgame content, consistently.

At least, not if you’re viewing this objectively. It’ll still be good and powerful, especially the Synthocepts version. They could’ve left it alone and I (like you) would’ve been okay with it BUT I completely understand why it’s getting a nerf. Also, “barely touchable!?” You need to get more imaginative because my other Prismstic Titan builds are pretty busted and/or fun.

Dude the whole Schick of concentration is still there, it'll do its job the same way it always did, just the waves don't do as much, which wasn't even the main thing of it, the dang explosion of the 2 together was

I’m actually shocked they did not nerf it into the ground. It is broken. It is not the only build, it is the easiest build. If you go with an exotic class item with spirit of severance and spirit of contact… you will not notice a difference. Everybody just leaned into syntho.. yes it does awesome one hitting champions, but the above does better for an entire rooms.

Not to mention the amount of times the Titans go running off into battle on a GM thinking they can solo it, quickly dying and then getting annoyed because they're on there own effectively ending the GM run

Consecration and the subsequent builds on Prismatic are so dominant, so potent, so powerful, that they completely eclipse any other type of build that one could have when using Prismatic. Personally, I like using a Thunderclap Spam build, as I find constantly launching the massive punches and essentially having them up infinitely to be very fun, plus, it’s not just consecration, despite the fact that both builds are functionally the same. A nerf to Consecration will be healthy for Prismatic Titan, and won’t heavily affect Solar Titan as it’s not nearly as potent on Solar Titan as it is on prismatic.

3 RisposteReally? I’ve never seen an ability as broken as consecration - on any class. I truly think people that say this is the ‘only thing Titans have’ just lack skill. Run a strand Titan with banner of war / synthoceps and tell me it doesn’t make most content laughable. As a hunter main, I decided to try it in Warlords Ruin and got to the boss solo / deathless my first attempt. Bungie will always nerf and buff things - you just need to adapt.

We are about to start having the same issues banner of war strand titan had during lightfall it launched to strong and was fun. We all know what Bungie does to fun things they make them not fun. They will slowly gut the prismatic slam build over time just like strand titan was making it worthless. Like another said they need to be buffing stuff not nerfing it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Power fantasy is what drew myself and many others to the game, stop trying to take that away. They are trying so hard to get us to use the unbreakable aspect but that aspect just doesn’t sound good enough for endgame content where you can get insta melted.

1 RispondiI will never understand class envy in pve.. How many Gm have players failed due to lack of firepower? The only valid point is for said titan to NOT run ahead and get killed.. The point is to beat the Gm kill count doesn't matter folks who applaud this are jealous about what another class has.. And the icing..If we were not vastly under leveled there would be no need for builds like this to exist... The defenders of this action proves there's another category of d2 player... The hater category Y'all sicken me

(Even Datto says so)[/quote] I haven't tried new consecration yet,if it's live I don't know,BUT it needed nerfed . I couldn't tell why titans even joined my gm lfgs instead of just running it solo? Was it to hog kills and show off they could chain consecrations and me and the other guy could only watch ? they're running double breach loaders and clearing this weeks gm in 7:40 or something? How's that fun? I know it's awesome and op,but come on, our thumbsticks thank you Bungie. Too bad you don't have a time machine to stop it from ever happening along with prismatic and giving final shape a singular new subclass instead of jumbling underused crap together and calling it new ,destiny might not be this close to the hole in the bottom of the bowl
