I didn't miss it. That might be a shock to some. I mean I had to power up during the Final Shape... it didn't take long. However, not having to divert my focus in previous seasons... not feeling incomplete as each season started... Because leveling is numero uno for me... I need to get that done before I can focus on anything else. I played Season of the Wish to death... and I think it's because I could immediately start farming CoiL... I wasn't getting enraged or frustrated... or burnt out by "chores" that ARE "rng" chores for progression. It never feels good to get dupes... It feels horrible to go weeks, as some do... gaining little to no progress based on rng. Now, I'm pretty positive and saccharin... if the new content is good, I'll enjoy it... but many end up getting burnt out and frustrated... and that acrimony and attitude doesn't serve the new content. Who likes grinding for glimmer and wasting cores on upgrade modules? No one. My vault still isn't fully upgraded. So, now I got to do that how often... every year was awesome... Now it's every 4 months I need 400+ upgrade modules. I don't like that. The grind itself in a vacuum is fine, I can do it in a week if I get lucky... it's the inventory maintenance & costs. I want to dedicate my time and resources to the new enhancement system... not upgrading my vault. How about this? Keep the banding... but when I hit cap... it costs a cipher to upgrade ALL my energy weapons in my vault, same for kinetic & heavy. So, 3 ciphers to upgrade all the weapons in my vault... excluding armor, once you hit pinnacle cap. Then, it's not a big deal to me. 😇 👍💠
