Killed over 500 enemies in Skywatch, only got 4 engrams to drop
Is the drop rate supposed to be that low?

i was having a similar but different problem in encore and during overthrows ware enemies were not counting for my quests and not even counting as kills for my guns and not providing exp... so i believe there is a greater underling problem with X on kill overall and the enemies are not attached to a loot pool at all resulting in a zero drop....such things would be hard to test on the player side and could be shadow nerfed on the dev side ez and its not the first time this has happend either....

Some bungie employee is furiously seeing this and saying “4 engrams 500 enemies?! No no it should be less engrams and more kills! We gotta increase their play time somehow!!”

This is what I did (it took me 3-4h combined) : - Used Public Defender on the ghost - Changed my clock on PS it drastically changed the amount of guardians in the same instance. I did 3-4 PE's by myself (from one I got 3 engrams) - Farmed Ogres and Yellow bar enemies in between

Yep, best method i found was to stand on the ledge by the hut, you have a clear view of the 3 Knight swordbearers when they spawn, keep taking those out on rotation, alway listen out for the High Value Target arriving and then check in on the ogre every 5 minutes or so, whilst doing that get involved when the " Enemy Turn on Eachother" is announced and always get involved with events when they spawn making sure you upgrade them to special ( or whatever they're called) apart from that, its a boring grind unfortunately

Yep. I sat up top where you spawn in with a sniper that had shoot to loot and explosive payload. Kept getting kills and scoping for engrams. Be sure to use the ghost mod that is supposed to give you a remotely small but increased chance of an extra engram. It took me a long time but finally got it completed.

I only went for the yellow and orange bar guys. Went pretty quick.

They will eventually reopen the cave in some weird way i think, I got it done you get at least one or two with prime attunment every day so just log on kill a yellow and you will be done in two weeks max or grind it

Yes. Try doing public events or when " the enemy moves against each other" more orange bar enemies. It's a payback bonus for farming loot cave ...lol

I tried for 30mins and I’m still at zero. This event blows. Forced to grind for rank 8 and then engrams, definitely not fun at all. Bungie dropped the ball on this one.

I put 2500+ kills just on Choir farming those engrams

6 RisposteYeah, killing in Skywatch has crap for drops. Make one giant circle around the map and collect every chest and resource so mores chests have to spawn. I got probably 3/4 of my needed engrams from random world chests there. VIP kills didn’t drop anything except glimmer. It was kind of grindy in a lame farm fashion, but it worked. Thats how I got that part of the Legend title done. 👍🏻

Some really odd RNG. It took me over an hour to complete this part of the triumph. This "event" for a decade of the game is so bad, for real.

Depends on the type of enemies you kill. Yellow bars & bosses have a higher drop rate for items. What I did was run a strike & then load up Skywatch, kill the helicopter ogre, & then go back to the strike playlist or wait for a PE if one was coming up soon. One cool thing is that if you get Battleground: foothold from the strike playlist, the rewards at the end count as drops. So put on a prosperity ghost if that one comes up.
