I’m back after years and pvp was always the allure of the game for me.
My question is why does comp feel so out of balance in skill level?
- I’m plat II and I feel like I’m playing way above my normal match up. I straight up carry 25 kills in clash games regularly, shouldn’t my teammates be balancing out my ceiling by getting kills too?
- Why do I have to play a majority of collision in my comp experience? I’m sorry but it’s not a good game mode. I can’t always carry those games even if I get 35 kills trying to contest zones my teammates won’t help capture? If I don’t get competent players then collision matches feel handicapped…
I love playing comp, this is my first season taking it serious but if the playlist keeps the lack luster skill match it’s kinda kills my incentive to play.
it should be based on last 10 games KDA to keep up with high ceiling player talent. If potentially high cap players get good teammates they can develop faster instead of being dragged down by low ceiling players that wiggle into higher divisions.
- lastly just let me opt out of collision. If I wanted to play that game mode then I would play that game mode. Comp is about me killing another player with better mechanics not getting dragged down by a zone.

Collision is a very interesting game mode, but the spawn system could use some improvement. I think it would be more interesting if positioning could be more effective, like manipulating the spawn position of the opponent, like in CoD's Hardpoint.

Pvp needs a major security overhaul or removed completely. Honest take!

Both modes are unsatisfactory and represent changes made for the sake of making changes. It was fine as Survival-only.

[b]Collision is unbalanced because of.. [/b] 1) Unpredictable spawns - Someone always gets a lucky flank due to a weird spawn that the team couldn't predict. 2) It prioritizes hand-holding and grouping up, which imo deincentivices skill. The Revive aspect means that if you have bad teammates, it is nearly impossible to win. 3) It plays poorly on a lot of maps. Some zones are simply not in good locations.

Collision has zero business being in the comp playlist. It’s a fun game mode like control.

i absolutely despise this game mode, it quite literally incentivizes dying and grouping. look how often the team who actually played better wins. and the main objective is completely broken, whoever gets the better spawn gets more points, that’s so fundamentally flawed it isn’t even funny. countdown was 10x better than this.
