Trials needs SBMM
I’m tired of getting teammates who do 400 damage throughout the entire game while getting opponents who go 14/0. They need to put some SBMM into trials, not a lot but just enough so that I’m put up against people who are around my skill level

I’m a PvP casual that’s trying to improve so I play alot of Trials. I have gone solo flawless and I think the new persistence card is harder lol. I’ve completed one of those too. It’s end game PVP so it won’t ever be SBMM. The player pool isn’t large enough to support SBMM and yeah it should be difficult. They could improve match making though.

Sbmm would throw flawless out the door and you might as well ask for a redesign of what trials is which is reasonable as the player base at lower levels suffer while others profit.

This game literally needs ZERO skill matching or factoring for a week. It will be a teachable moment.

11 RisposteTrails need to go back to required premade teams to start searching for matches. Solo ques killed the game mode.

Trials need to be card based! It’s the easiest way to really fix the matchmaking issue. Cbmm or sbmm doesn’t mean anything with a card based system.

5 RisposteThey need a flawed card matchmaking, for people that keep playing on a flawed card for rep. That way, they won't be able to ruin no one else's cards. People with a flawed card CANNOT play with or against people with a non flawed card. Easy fix.

trials just straight needs taking out the game. its not what it was and never will be. the game mode is dead . vets play it for nostalgia but its not trials anymore.

2 RisposteIMO, different playlists should offer different experiences. Comp is the playlist for more closely matched teams.

I would say send these ppl a msg if they can help you improve don’t underestimate the willingness of better players to help you improve. I do fairly well in trials and honestly when ppl send me hate mail ofcourse I’m not gonna help someone but if they genuinely ask eey how did you do that and can we play or give me some tips Im always happy to help

6 RisposteSBMM would kill the mode, simply math will tell you having a 50% chance to win a match is not going to work with trials. SBMM will lead to a double mercy flawless having an 11% chance per card and using no mercies would 0.78125% (please note a confidence card is required for the title). SBMM will actually remove all skill from the mode as flawless runs would drop massively with only the best players getting them, matches will constantly be against the same people, the title will become impossible due to carries and you wont see the lighthouse ever. SBMM would make it even more of a slot machine than it already is.

I don't think you need more fair opponents, I think you need better teammates. You played well for the weekend u just need people that don't drop a 0 29 or 0 kills in a game.
