Checkmate feels great
Great focus on precision weapons. I love that people can’t depend on abilities. Some outliers are hot swapping bows and fighting lion. It’s not a huge problem, but it definitely doesn’t feel good to die to the hot swap or put up with fighting lion spam.
When I lose a gunfight, it doesn’t feel like a cheap shot due to space magic. I was simply out gunned and out played. I love that

I'm an absolute crap PvP player that relies on gear like Young Ahamkara's Spine, and after two matches I rather like it myself. I think it would be better suited for a mode other than Control, but otherwise I've enjoyed it so far.
