It's more engaging and challenging. People are being pushed out of their comfort zone to do and try new things.
*Trying out new subclasses and weapons finding new favorites
*Not standing still out in the open eating bullets wondering why they're dying so fast
Builds are more important. Your stats, weapons, Sub Class and configuration of said sub class.
*No more 100 mobility warlocks...
*No more Truth in PvE(who does that???)
It's time to Git Gud. No this is not some elitist thing. When you do something repeatedly like say play a game, you're supposed to get better at it over time without even trying. You're supposed to learn...
All I see is complaining and crying.
People encountering a problem and bashing their head against it repeatedly thinking somethings gonna change... That's more or less what insanity is. Gotta wait on bungie or some YouTuber to hold your hand and tell yah what to do?
People used to be able to read and problem solve all by themselves. Nope not anymore.
They can't read and spread misinformation
They put more effort into complaining than trying to solve the damn problem.
The difficulty is fine.
The Story and crucible sandbox are a different story.
Remember to look at things objectively and make progress bit by bit. There's no damn hurry.

2 RisposteI agree with you but Truth is perfectly fine.

19 RisposteFake difficulty is not engaging or fun

1 RispondiModificato da Count-Sardooku: 4/6/2023 2:05:39 PMAgreed. I am enjoying the game more now. I have to think about my engagements now, utilize cover, ability management, weapon choice, etc… So much better than before.

1 RispondiPc games are always easy with god mode esp and aimbot... Thats why the games on pc are cheaper, bc the cheatin scumbags.

3 RisposteYou say to look at things objectively, I suggest you do the same. I myself have no issues with the content difficulty but I know others do and I also know some people want to just chill and shoot crap in the face without having to stress over weapons/armour/mods ect. It's fine you like it, and I'm glad there is an increased difficulty however the game hasn't previously needed the kind of involvement it needs now and has come as a shock to "a lot" of people. IMHO the basics of the game should be just that, Basic. There's zero need for everything to be an outright grind/slog. There honestly needs to be a lower level that people can just brainlessly enjoy. I don't see that having an easier level of difficulty takes anything away from those of us that like to play the harder content. That's what Master and Grandmaster content is for. Not everyone is a master hero, and for them to feel like the lowest level of content is too much for them is very disheartening, especially when they decide to leave the game because of it. Food for thought.
-
1 RispondiI'm not against harder content, but if the loot drop isn't worth it, then why should I push myself? Increase the loot drop if it'll he hard. Lucky bungie did somewhat listen but I can't judge yet till it's updated
-
The game is harder and it’s not very good. Fixed it for you.
-
18 RisposteNo new mechanics, no new content. Just enemy HP and damage slider up. So epic 🙄
-
1 RispondiOk first off hp does not mean difficulty nor does a lot of ads Difficulty means jackal snipers on a ledge sniping me or elites sneaking around me with good ai Also what is wrong with 100 mobility on a warlock??? Speed is fun!

Modificato da CovertBrush3698: 4/7/2023 5:36:18 AMOk. So I feel I like this guy is right and wrong. Let’s do what they did right. 1. “Git Gud” they are totally right about this because I feel like no one understands the fact that bungie increased the defense and damage mobs can do by like 5%. It’s not that much! Stop being crybaby’s about it! Then again I am a semi-casual player so I kinda feel for my casual players out there. 2. Spreading misinformation. I under stand this part and it has damaged me as a semi-casual player. Like I look something up and I find a random video that looks like what I’m looking for and it ends up being some rant or something. Like vent somewhere else y’know? Ok. The only thing I see wrong with this post is how they said everything. Like they said everything in a bad-ish tone and it makes it look like a another rant on the forum. But I think you should think about what this guy said! It’s really insightful. Thanks to the op for posting this!

1 RispondiIt’s people like you is why this games boring stop crying and actually play the game
-
2 RispostePeople are being pushed all right. Right to YouTube to find builds that work on patrol in Neomuna.

The game has never been this good. Absolutely loving it. Can't wait for a new dungeon!

14 RisposteModificato da a Chicken Nugget (Adept): 4/6/2023 3:49:49 AMI agree the difficulty is good if you are a veteran player who plays regularly. This was once me, and back when I played regularly, I would be happy with this change. Now that I barely play, I think it’s just annoying and just keeps me wanting to get on. Difficultly isn’t bad, I have been playing dark souls and Elden ring instead of destiny, I have no problem of getting good. The problem is that with dark souls games, you know that it is difficult like parts of destiny, but I can win if I am underleveled as long as I am good enough, and leveling up is fun. In destiny, yeah I can go level, but it takes a very long time, and it is really not fun. Go play gambit and iron banner after not playing for a season or two? No thank you. So I’m given the choice of go play a lot of boring to be able to do the semi-fun stuff, or play very underleveled and have a lot less fun, and so I don’t play. I’m conclusion, if you actually read this far, thank you, I doubt anyone actually did. In conclusion, I get making the game difficult for the people who only play destiny, but make it a little easier for returning players to catch up to a level where it can still be challenging, but doable in more difficult activities Can’t wait for the “skill issue” replies

2 RisposteDo you prefer the sole, or are you more of a string and islet kind of guy? I'd ask if you like the tongue but that might be misconstrued.
-
1 RispondiAgreed. I love the difficulty bump. Things were getting so boring...especially normal Vanguard
-
1 RispondiModificato da Quiet_Bushi: 4/6/2023 8:01:49 AMI miss going around looking for Dead Ghosts. It was a touch of class, imho, finding lore by Dead Ghosts all around, dead without find theyr Guardian. And all of them with a piece of lore, a piece of story with them, in theyr empty lightless Shell. Hope Bungie will bring something similar back, one day.

8 RisposteI don't know why people downvoted this post, this shows people don't want to git gud.
-
3 RisposteTbh I’m not finding the game any harder, if anything sometimes the surges mesh and it’s just a magic carpet ride of shields, orbs and constant supers. Sure tormentors and similar seemed a bit chonky on first legend level experience, and fking threshers (and psion scooters) can/ could be a bit much at times, but certainly no more of an issue than your first encounter with an unstoppable ogre when you hadn’t unlocked the unstoppable mod yet 😅
-
Usually you give bad takes, but I agree with this one
-
2 RisposteModificato da Zydron, The Gate Lord: 4/6/2023 1:48:58 AMI am also glad the difficulty is increased, but it doesn't mean anything if I can just stop everything from doing anything by freezing. People shouldn't be doing crucible all day. They need to go into pve and see that they are not gods, pvp isn't the only thing d2 has to offer.
-
10 RisposteHands down I love a challenge ! I’ve just adapted . I’m playing some other games and they really push me to the limit! Destiny is the only pvp / pve game out there that is smooth and solid gun play . It’s a huge gamble and yes destiny is far far from perfect and impossible to pls the entire community but here they are 9 years later 🤷🏼♂️
