Bungie… I love the dungeons, and I get that they’re supposed to be difficult. But when I can tank a full stomp into a wall from Caital at close range, but a flamethrower cabal tosses me across the freaking map when I’m 50ft away from them and I lose my near-completion for a solo run…
What. The. Frick.
This stomp / backblast range needs to freaking chill, because I have attempted 30 Caiatl completions only to get blown off the literal map by a flamethrower cabal I’m not even next to.
Sincerely,
An irritated Guardian who does actually enjoy the game.

2 RisposteThat... And, the ability to throw a magical hammer, unlimited knives, shoot space tazers out of our palms and summon a fun size black hole, but we get to ride on sparrows that has the resilience of wet paper and often have a fatal ankle break on a rock.

Those guys are more dangerous than bosses. A boss kills me once in a blue moon, but these guys oneshot me out of nowhere on lowest of difficulties. That's Bungie design for ya, lmao
-
I remember sprinting into a wall and dying lol

4 RisposteI'd rather they fix the stupid insta death on teleport into nightmare realm glitch. That's a real big WTF?!

I have to strongly disagree with all these complaints about the knock back mechanic that's been in the game in some way, shape or form since day 1. Essentially endgame content should punish poor strategy/positioning. If you're enjoying the game then it'll be easier for you to embrace the challenge. To negate the stomp attacks you can either: keep your distance, use a sword or master a well timed melee attack a split second before the blast occurs (just like the ones performed on stomping bosses during the Ikelos trench barrel meta). I just don't think PvE should be made any easier than it already is.

Actually enjoys the game? Nah bruh you lying

3 RisposteEhy Guardian. In the last months many Guardian have opened similar threads about the Duality Dungeon and how their runs have been ruined either by the Bells or the knockback effect of flamthrowers and stomps. While for the first issue we must only wait for a fix, the knockback is a different case because Bungie should andress it as an actual problem, which it is for situations like solo flawless runs in this peculariar Dungeon, but much less in general. This makes things complicated fore eventual fixes and or balancing =/

They don't need to make it easier, its suposed to be that way
-
I gave up doing it solo after the architects(wall) killed me for the 3rd time
-
A part of that is that they toned back boss stomp knockback a little while back, but they never did that for regular enemies.

2 RisposteThe flame Cabal have been annoying since launch but they were a lot less common almost being treated like centurions and other high ranking enemies where a room maybe had 1 or 2 instead of like 6 constantly spawning like they do now
