So I just learned that a close friend bought something to cheat in D2. While I personally hate that, I still would like to play with him. He claims that he only wants to use it when he's playing alone and promises to never use it when he's playing with me and the others, but I am not so sure about it.
I am aware that I can get banned for playing with him while he has the cheat active. But what if he is telling the truth and doesn't actively use it when we play together? I'd hate to stop playing with him entirely, but I certainly would if my account is at the risk.
And I most certainly won't go into crucible with him knowing that he has cheats on.

1 RispondiHonestly if you keep playing with him bungie will probably end up banning you also, especially if you he is doing it either is solo or not. Also playing solo can mean a lot, solo crucible, solo banner, solo trials, even hoping in gambit solo, be careful cause the game won't tell you if he has any cheats active i can tell you no all day long an just hit a button on my pc. Not trying to be a -blam!- but if he got it his intention are to use it, that being said dont come up on the forums if you keep playing with him an you get banned in the process saying it shouldn't be on your.
