I sometimes am doing a mission or activity and the narrative references something that I don't understand because it was from a raid. I am very limited in my abilities and even a story version of them with nothing but regular rewards would be nice. Something a low intensity build can handle as that is what I can use. The whole thing could just reward the same as a story mission. Upgrade module, blue item, purple item and some glimmer. I don't mind.
I just would like to experience the things being referenced. And the environments are so cool I'd like to be able to explore them as it makes for good imagination fuel. 😊

My brother in Christ do you mean strikes

End game content is supposed to be a challenge. It’s not for everyone and it’s crazy to me to ask for what is arguably the most interesting pve content to be made shittier.
-
Multiple people have offered to help you and you haven’t responded to any of them. That’s on you.
-
I’ve seen quite a few say the same thing, but I’m happy to take you through the raids…. And if u aren’t responding to take up these opportunities then sadly, it’s on u man…. There are plenty of good like minded players in this community who like helping. For instance, I regularly look at lfg and only look for posts where people need help. Not sure what your ‘shortcomings’ are but I’m sure there are plenty (as evidenced by the replies I saw) that will gladly help u complete the content ur missing

9 RisposteDungeons are easier versions of raids. And lost sectors are easier versions of dungeons.

Skimming through this and the other replies, I first want to at least respect the OPs desire for more accessible content. I know not everyone has the time or ability to invest into this game, let alone have to search outside the game to actually find groups for activities. The issue here goes much deeper into the game design imo. The easy answer to OPs question is something like World of Warcraft having multiple difficulty levels for dungeons and raids. Unfortunately, with the exception of a few activities over the game's history, difficulty has simply been adjusting power level requirements, throw in a few extra modifiers, and some champions. This of course does not change the actual requirements of the encounters themselves. The short explanation here is that they can't really make the dungeons and raids any easier without more or less removing the mechanics. Going back to WoW as an example, the normal difficulty has certain mechanics, and each higher difficulty adds some more mechanics, and there is an LFG mode where some mechanics get removed to reduce the need for coordination by the party. Destiny just doesn't have that flexibility. To sum it up: - Raids and Dungeons really can't be tweaked that much aside from scaling changes to favor the player and make it easier to survive and damage the bosses. - Raid mechanics in general are specifically designed for 6 players, and in the cases where you can complete it with less, it's going to likely be harder - Dungeons can be done solo, but damage scaling would need to be tuned in order to make a "Story Mode" - In general the way Destiny is currently designed does not make it easy to create story versions of group content

If you don't mind me asking, how are you limited in your abilities? Cause if it's something like you not being good at video games, that's fine, not everyone is going to be good. If it's something more physical, that's also okay, we can take things generally at the pace you need it to (granted the encounters in Vow are a bit time sensitive, but we can still make do). I'd be super down to get some of my clan mates together and take you through any of the raids. :) I've spent 6 hours with one team explaining to all 5 of them the mechanics of Vow of the Disciple and was super fun for me. I get enjoyment seeing things click for people and people being excited about learning these things. It wouldn't take 6 hours if 5 of us knew how to do everything and explained it to you.

30 RisposteThis is a needed change in the game. No one's asking for top tier loot. they just want to experience the whole game without extra requirements.
-
Hey man I will honestly redownload destiny to help you out if you’d like? I know how to do most of the raids and all but the new dungeon and I have a friend who loves to help people as well

Modificato da Sweet Lew 88: 6/17/2022 2:45:17 AMSounds like you want to do strikes. Very light mechanics, unlimited revives or respawns. Nightfalls have different difficulties so you can tailor them to your skill level and desire for how much struggling you want to have. Matchmaking on the easier ones, so you don't even need friends.
-
1 RispondiYeah, as others have said it's in Assassin's Creed, it's also in Division 2. You can dispair of voting here sometimes - this DOES NOT merit downvoting. Dungeons and Raids of course are different - one is NOT a light version of the other, one is an essentially 3 player activity, the other 6. Raids could use a story mode, as you said without Raid loot. Dungeons could use difficulty scaling to the number of players, as in the Legendary version of the campaign. This would do.
-
That's part of what makes raids special. Being able to experience narratives and environments that you just can't really get anywhere else. Plus if you really care about the story stuff...there's literally a story cutscene that plays after the world's first is complete.
-
1 RispondiPeople really want the game to be build around them on god 😴😴😴
-
Oh snap, Assassins Creed does that. Origins has like a tour of Egypt mode. It’s really well done too. I read they use it in schools
-
Like an exploration/tutorial mode? Sounds pretty cool. No respawn restricted zones, no wipes mechanics. Matchmaking. Extra mechanics added to make it easier to teach (like adding waypoint on objectives or enemies you have to kill etc…).
-
1 RispondiEasy mode with low rewards to teach things/give experience? The righteous side of me wants to support this, but the D1 Day One Veteran in me says “Skill Issue”.
-
You have 90 clanmates. Talk to them! Post in your clan chat that you want to do a raid. Wtf. Lol. You want a version of a raid with no mechanics where you just kinda run through the whole thing shooting patrol level ads so you can get an enhancement core? Lol. Lmao. Ayyye.
-
Grasp of Avarice has to be one of the most noob friendly activities worth doing and fun, that Bungie has come up with. No mic necessary I'm not interested in all of them being that straight forward or easy. Communicating for more complicated stuff is part of the experience.
-
Lost sectors are lighter versions of strikes Strikes are lighter versions of dungeons Dungeons are lighter versions of raids If you havent figured it then maybe you shouldn’t be playing.
-
I dont understand why you're asking for what you're asking. Why dont you just do the activities that are referenced? You say you're limited in your abilities, which i understand, but even then you can get a team together to help you do said activities. I know people talk about lfg being a horrible place, but it actually works quite well.

Master raids > raids > Dungeons > strikes > seasonal activity > patrols

Modificato da Olórin: 6/16/2022 4:21:55 PMWith the same loot as Regular/Master difficulties... Nah. As a training tool for newer/unfamiliar players to the activity, 100% yes, great idea to let players get a feel for each encounter and what their personal optimal builds are for damage phases etc. However, like you stated, have it like only one piece of gear after completion instead of every encounter, instead encounters reward Upgrade modules. The whole point of a Training mode is to prepare/learn more for Legend to Master difficulties, Training mode shouldn't reward regular Quality/Quantity of loot imo.
-
7 RisposteRaids maybe dungeons no, there use to be guided games which was an easier version of the raid don’t know if they still a thing
-
Cmon man

Yes. It’s called preservation Signed Bungie.

I like your idea 👍
