It is on Bungie to do a modicum of effort in explaining gameplay...and not through youtube channels that their employees monetize.

This has been one of Bungie’s primary weaknesses, they have an annoying tendency to put things in the game and hope players just figure it out. Either they’re not very good at explaining new mechanics or they just don’t care.
