I tracked my last 10 games. I was matched against players that were top 0.2% for every match? I stand no chance as a solo queue for sure, and I’m not that good to begin with. So what’s the point?
-
Its cause majority of you never change your weapons. Yall use the same weapons over and over again .
-
3 RisposteI'm not sure it's supposed to be a fun and casual pvp playlist activity I mean it is card based and the goal is to get 7 wins that " escalate in difficulty" for end game adept loot and materials. I mean serious, when I see players go in with red border weapons leveling them and doing bounties with odd PvE load outs, not changing mods, solo, and not entering fireteam chat, what do you think is going to happen? Look I want everyone to get their loot but it can be rough out there, protect yourself.

1 Rispondi*Plays pinnacle pvp* *Is surprised when they play top tier pvp players*
-
It's not supposed to be fun for "most players" It's supposed to be fun for high skill and/or highly dedicated PvPers. So...yeah, you're right, it's not fun for most players, and that means it's doing exactly what it was designed to do.
-
I look at your 0.0 kd games and none of your opponents were .02 trials players they where top 2.0 - 80% how you lost to top 80% I dont know but I do understand top 2% but anyways yes trials is unbalance but it's for top pvp players not casual players, that's what it was made for now I can honestly say I played top .02% players because I I'm in the top 1% but by looking at your stats and games you either need better teammates or just get better at the game but in all fairness this map this week with this game mode of capturing the flag did suck

Modificato da Unbreakable Patches: 4/26/2022 12:22:09 AMTrials is entirely designed to be a stomping grounds for good players. It’s not meant to be fair or fun for the majority of players. It’s a bad design, but boy oh boy do the sweats get an ego boost from it. Things like capture point trials are -blam!- awful ideas too. It’s -blam!- piled on top of garbage. Edit; apparently -blam!- is censored.
-
1 Rispondilol bro I just looked you up on trials report and no, you did not play that many top 0.2% players. In fact just the few I checked best I saw was *ONE* player in the top 5%. I HIGHLY doubt you played top 0.2% players 10 straight games.
-
Camping and dealing dmg at corners/camp lanes isn’t fun? Who would of thought
-
Never been beaten in Trials!!!
Mostly because I'm that sh!t at pvp I've never played it!
-
2 RisposteAlso doesnt help that we consistently get awful maps with labs. This weekend is a shotgun sentinels wet dream. Pvp balance changes cant come soon enough..
-
9 RisposteI feel the same. I'm not great but I'm not terrible and seem to face people that run and gun with a sniper using it like a shotgun. I'm not even joking, a guy was literally running at us with a sniper at very close range head-shotting like no ones business. Demoralizing when we get 1v3'd. I know it's Trials and it's supposed to be end-game blah blah, but there needs to be some sort of line when matching the top players against far lower skilled players. Is it fair to hand easy wins to players that go flawless every week?
-
8 RisposteIt's not supposed to be fun if you're not good at the game. It's endgame content. You don't go into a raid on your own and expect to have a good time, do you? You need to understand the mechanics and have good teammates. That being said: matchmaking in this game is a farce and is long overdue for an overhaul.
-
1 RispondiModificato da Duvain-4: 4/24/2022 11:09:25 PMTrials isn't meant for most people. its for the people who either A: want to get some better than average loot or B: want to pretend destiny 2 has a esports scene.(not crapping on taking it seriously but its just not a competetive game) Trials is endgame pvp, not everyone plays GMs, or raids, same with trials. not every peice of content is meant for every single player.
-
3 RisposteDon't play it. You accomplish 3 things if you play it. You push the participation numbers up, making Bungie feel like they are succeeding. You frustrate yourself. You are fodder for the high skill/ ultra try hard/cheats.
-
Trials population takes a nose-dive when it’s not freelance. This leads to a lot more lop-sided matches and generally worse players going in solo as all the good players find teams instead. Even if you don’t have a mic, post in the LFG here. Get a slightly better team and knock out a few wins here and there. As a solo you’re just not going to get anywhere when it’s not freelance unless you’re one of the best players in the game. We’re getting to the point in the season where Trials just succs. The population starts dropping off and everything feels kinda bad. It doesn’t help this week that it’s a divisive map with flag capture. Keep at it, and if you’re just going for the seasonal challenge I’d wait until freelance comes back, make a no-mic lfg, or just keep trying your luck.
-
If you are getting destroyed in trials then you have to assess a fiew points . 1.are you playing pvp enough 2.do you know the maps 3.are you familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of your load out 4 (most important) are you learning from whats going on ,ie the angles you are being killed from . I do feel like the lobby's are not very well balanced but you have to apriciate that their are alot of talented pvp players playing trials ,but to get any better you have to play alot of crucible to be able to compete ,always pay attention to the best players and what they are doing ,you will learn alot from watching
-
So? It's not meant for most players. Bungie don't control how good people are and who plays it anyway.
-
Maybe try and LFG. Bungie have been good to allow solos to queue but they even said themselves that if you’re playing to win then it’s best to team up.
-
1 RispondiToO isn’t a popular mode. Destiny pvp already is a dead mode
-
Crucible is terrible this season. Just take a break.

Modificato da Sohsuh: 4/24/2022 4:52:37 PMOne of the major problems with Trials is the fact that we can't practice for Trials. I think this is the biggest issue that a lot of people overlook, including Bungie. There is NOWHERE to hone our skills for Trials, which is going to make it miserable for players who don't spend time in there. Trials plays so different from the regular Crucible that we need a way to actually practice in that environment somehow. When you go into Trials, you are facing people who know all the angles, who team shot perfectly, who understand the flow of the maps, who know when to push, when to stay back, how to change their loadouts based off what you're using in order to beat you. You will lose to them and you will not have a good time because you don't know what you're doing. You haven't had anywhere to actually practice that style because you are just thrown into the mode and can't even gain anything from being destroyed by people. Elimination is there, but it suffers from the same thing as Trials. You just play stacked groups that destroy you and you can't learn anything. You won't be able to really figure out everything on a map because the other team is used to it already and they aren't going to give you any time to figure stuff out. You will lose to them and you will not have a good time. Freelance was introduced, but it has the same broken lobby balancing that the rest of the crucible has. You won't be able to practice that style because your teammates will get destroyed which in turn means you will be in a 3 v 1 situation and will lose and not have a good time. What is the answer to this? Where can people actually get their bearings for Trials so they can actually compete? People can't just go into Trials and face teams that have been playing together for thousands of hours. That isn't going to work. Nobody is going to learn how to properly play when they are losing so badly. An easy solution would be to have freelance be permanent with proper lobby balancing so the teams aren't always a one sided joke. I don't think Bungie can do this though. They threw freelance in and called it a day, and most people get terrible teammates and don't even bother. Freelance Elimination would work, although I doubt enough players would play that so the population would be terrible and the games would be super laggy. I won a raffle with a couple streamers the other night, and I literally couldn't do anything most of the games. Facing 3 stacks who team shot you instantly, have every angle locked down, know all the greasy spots to sit, etc. This is all stuff I'd like to learn but I can't because I won't be able to against these teams. I just get destroyed before I even know what is happening. Even with having 2 incredible players on my team, I was still getting destroyed. So where can I go practice? Where can I learn how to play that 3 v 3 competitive style, without getting destroyed in the process? You can't tell me to just play Trials because it doesn't work. That is like saying to learn Basketball, you have to play against professionals. I am trying to learn how to move around the court, and know how to make plays, while the other team is destroying me. It isn't going to work. So something needs to be done. We need an environment similar to Trials, where people who aren't good can actually hone their skills so they can actually go into Trials and stand a chance against these teams. In it's current state, you just have people who already know how to play well enjoying themselves in there, and everyone else just hates it and either has a miserable time or avoids it altogether, and that's not good for the health of the mode.
-
12 RisposteThen play the team based gamemode with a team.
-
I remember first weekend of solo queue they added. I reset rank 3 times and lost around 90% or more of matches. Only played iirc trying to get a specific roll of messenger and then the lfr they added to trials. It’s just unfortunately not a great mode and even with rewards it’s literally rewarding suffering for people in most cases since no one finds getting wrecked for hours fun. Basically the form of trials they have created is purely reward driven for majority of playerbase who happens to jump in for something. The fun part to all of this is if they drop the ball on loot which is very likely soon with them removing the poster children of trials with messenger and shayuras in coming seasons then I expect limited interest. Solo queue admittedly made me play it more than since it launched on D1 but losing most games is not fun for anyone and the rewards have to be more broken and unique to compensate for the suffering.
-
Go play something else then. Simple. Trials has been trash for all of d2. It was fun back in d1.
-
6 RispostePersonally I think trials should be its own paid expansion...similar to a dungeon. Pay your 20$ each season and go nuts. That said...if that were to happen it should have tons of new weapons and cosmetic stuff with perks made exclusively for trials. Give the sweats tons of stuff to grind for...make it so good and rewarding that they completely stop playing regular crucible. Oh by the way...those exclusive weapon mods and trials perks don't proc outside trials...happy shooting.

1 Rispondii play maybe 1-2 alright teams per card. If you guys can’t get a team and learn how to communicate and win at the state this game is at then maybe you should practice more. It’s the easiest it’s ever been to win and go flawless
