Pvp rubbish
I normally like to put constructive criticism on here to try and be less toxic and improve the game but WTF is up with crucible, the game has gone past a point of acceptance now,it is appalling at the moment,maps that were designed for 4v4 are being played for 6v6 and the matchmaking is disgusting,I was thinking of getting the witch queen but I guarantee you that there will be pvp focused quests so I don't think I will bother,it's a shame because I am a dad one destiny player and I have never seen the crucible so bad and neglected.

Day 1 Destiny player. Hardcore crucible player in D1. And I wouldn't dream of playing Crucible now because it's such an absolute shat show. I would rather give myself a home root canal with no numbing than put up with how bad PvP is right now. D2 in general has been a disappointment from the start. But when I decided to come back after a 2 year hiatus, only to have my content I PAID FOR sunset shortly after I got it, that left a very sour taste in my mouth. But now that PvP, the only thing that ever kept me playing Destiny, is THIS bad, I have no desire to ever play Destiny again. I certainly am not getting the next DLC. Fool me once... It's sad though, cuz Destiny as a whole was my favorite game ever for a long time.

5 RisposteWith a few outlier exceptions, the sandbox is in a very good spot. Now that class abilities are more reigned in, it's good. But, the matchmaking, maps, and the lag in crossplay is pretty awful. Such a shame too, they make some nice changes and it just highlights the glaring problems that are still here.

Castrating the Titans taking away shoulder charge one hit kill was the problem with pvp . Right ? Destiny did not attain the peak of its player base with this ( hacked up )version of the game . Spending all that time and money building a character around specific abilities that have been suddenly down graded and altered. The game was advertised years ago as something different than it is today. That’s unfortunate.

4 RisposteYou can’t do much with PvP honestly, it’s very unbalanced, some exotics are OP as fk. Handcannons are overused not because they really OP but they outclassed everything else and shotguns are whatever at this point. The solution I have found is by not playing it much anymore two or three games and out

Crucible experience is getting worse by the day!

The map size isn't the source of the problem; it is the team size. 6v6 is too chaotic. The maps could be made bigger and there still would be a problem at chokepoints. Halo Infinite had a similar problem recently with their Big Team Battle. The map is huge, but with 24 players on the map too many of them get together in isolated locations on the map. 343 had to reduce the team size from 12v12 to 8v8. If Bungie wants to improve the player experience, they must reduce player movement speed and return the team size to 4v4.

Took a couple month break for holidays and I swear it's gotten way worse. 90% of my control games today have been mercies; this is why skill-based match-making was better. I really don't care about the top 5% who don't like sweats.

Modificato da V21075: 1/3/2022 4:48:55 PMThere are a million things wrong with PVP, the main one is simply that its been left to die, slowly, since the major changes made after year 1 of D2. Think about that, what other PVP mode has literally been ignored by a developer for 2 years, with no reason why either, since year 2 we’ve had no new maps, no new modes, no balancing and no I don’t count the seasonal updates as balancing, all we do every season is lurch from one terribly unbalanced mess to the next, hand cannons have been overused forever, this is not me having a go at users, its simply to point out that they have never moved that needle except for a 6 month 600 auto rifle trial that caused so much complaining that they quickly returned it to your favourite 140 playlist. Stompies, used religiously by hunters, they have never even been mentioned by the devs as an issue when they add so much value for absolutely no sacrifice, great exotic, but has never been adjusted once for PVP, if you look at say Dunmarchers or Geomags, they got nerfed hard because of their use in PVP, Geomags are rubbish even in PVE now, again the devs just don’t seem to know who to balance the game, its boom or bust. The bottom line is that the game needs a huge overhaul PVP wise, and I don’t think the devs want or have the manpower to do it so we are lumped with it, D1 wasn’t perfect, but it was tweaked religiously, making it a decent PVP generally, D2? all they have done is make bad decisions occasionally and then turn away and hope for the best.

I’d give halo infinite a shot if you haven’t. The multiplayer stole me away from destiny a while ago and I’m still loving it.
