Interesting, how many of us, D1 lovers are still here? I am buying crap Bungie prodocing, but only reason is because i love kaboom and gunplay.

18 RisposteFor the meany people flexing saying they were ‘Day 1 vets’... You might want to know that there are records of when you played Destiny and Destiny 2. If you google “destiny heatmap” and search for your username it may, shall we politely say, refresh your memory. I know it can be confusing as was long time ago, and can save embarrassment when called out for bragging dishonestly.

D1 Beta Gunslinger here.
-
5 RisposteHere. Y1, D1. Forever 29 (never forget)....

It's bitter sweet love at this point. There's so much that aggravates and pisses me off. On the other hand, I met my best friend back in D1 and the gunplay really is one of the best out there. So it's cycles of grinding/-blam!- this game for me.
-
9 RisposteMe 👍 I'd have thought at 50 year old I'd have grew out of gaming. Apparently you don't stop gaming because you get old, you get old becaise you stop gaming!
-
1 RispondiAccording to the forums, 9 out of 10 people in here have been playing actively since D1 beta. Yet if you check their profiles, they are worse than new light players.

1 RispondiModificato da Codykins: 9/5/2021 8:27:38 AMI'm still hanging around from time-to-time, between work, errands, 3d model design, VR, and life-stuff. Bungie Account will be 14-Years old this year as well. Been around since right after the Alpha, and been around these forums since Halo CE / Halo 2. It's been a hell of a ride-- the game just doesn't hold my interest the way it used too.

Never left.. went from a might clan and a few thousand players to a handful of close online friends in the same clan I started in D1. Game changed.. people moved on.. those -blam!- love the gun play and beauty of the game but, not always the activities or story. Love playing the game but, don't always agree with the direction the game goes in. I refuse to drop the game in favor of something else that I would have to relearn the guns, the story, the metas etc.. Until Destiny is no more.. or I croak.. i'm here but, somedays.. DAMMMMMMMMN it can be hard. lol

Been here day one, played into D2 up till the menagerie then took a good long break. Now I’m catching up through Shadowkeep and beyond light, feels like good timing so far!
-
D1 vet here. Took some breaks here and there because other games appealed to me more but always found my way back. Just can’t seem to stay away from this game even if it gets tedious at times.
-
D1 Beta till now, didnt make acc until ~forsaken
-
D1 beta on PS3. Convinced me to buy a PS4 at launch. Been here ever since (though now on Xbox).
-
Remember the slow walk to Archons Forge to improve matchmaking😂 , Bungie even confirmed this I believe?
-
Came right before the dark below, I’ve been playing on and off since shadowkeep.
-
1 RispondiPlayed d1 from day one, played d2 for about 2 months before taking a break until I tried again in year two but it still wasnt right for me, now I'm back in again about a month now and I'm actually really enjoying it this time around
-
8 RisposteDay 1 d1 here I like D1 but it hasn't aged well....I prefer D2 seasons system...it might not be ground-breaking content every time but it's fun and it's more to do and more to get
-
3 RisposteDay 1 D1. Have taken a few breaks over the years playing D2, but still playing.
-
2 RisposteDay 1 vet here, good to see others are still around!
-
I've been playing since Oct. 2014. What's really crazy is how many times it was forecast this game was dead or dying since then, especially PVP. *Shrugs hard*
-
1 RispondiBeen here since day one of Destiny 1 👍🏻
-
1 RispondiWho else remembers downloading 3rd party apps just to find out times of public events 🤣
-
7 years of trying to get phat loot

6 RisposteMy first A Guardian Rises run was on a Hunter on Dec. 21, 2014 at 7:45 pm (yes, it had enough impact on me that I actually remember what time of evening it was when I ran it). I ran 3 Hunters for the 1st year, swapped one out for a Titan and then about a year later I chunked another Hunter and created my first Warlock. THAT was when I KNEW I had found my main character! Created 3 more accounts and ran 3 of them every week with this account being more of a joke account that I really didn't use. I kept the original as my main account until fairly early in D2 when I switched to this one as my main.
