I regularly play the game with my 10 year old lad - PvE & PvP, we’ve tried to 2 man a couple of dungeons and have made it pretty far, but no raids so far.
I’m wondering if there are any other parent guardians out there who might want to group up to try and get through some raid encounters with their small guardians? Or even stack up for some PvP laughs?
My lad would love to have a pop at some of them, but I’m extremely reluctant to let him loose on LFG - anyone who uses it has had at least one awful experience, and I’m trying to shield him from the pointless toxicity that’s out there as much as I can, he is only 10 (but is pretty handy and generally knows what he’s doing).
I’d love for him to find some other kids around his age to game with, but none of his local mates play Destiny.
I’ve done plenty of Sherpa runs before, and have pretty much unlimited patience. I also understand there might be loads of wipes and not much success, but he’s super keen to try, and I’d like to try and make it happen for him.
We’re UK based, on Xbox, and mostly play on Friday evenings.
Is there anyone out there who’s interested in joining up?

I used to play D1 with my son when he was in his early teens. He was great at crucible and soloed raids. I used to find him teaching 5 other guardians how to do raids LOL. He quit when they gave Gjallarhorn to everyone because the day it dropped for him in a raid, he started screaming with excitement. That ruined the game for him. There used to be a lot of videos of people screaming like that. Those were the days when Destiny was magical. ENJOY, you are making some good memories. We still laugh about some of the Destiny stuff we experienced together.
