Taco Tuesday happens every Tuesday, but we've sort of evolved it out to like... some sort of Latin American fusion.
If you enjoy both (no 3rd option because I know the damn rules), please lay some potential pro's/con's of either and/or both down here in the comments.

I’ve always found flour tortillas flavorless, just empty calories with a bitter aftertaste. Corn tortillas actually taste good.

Seems most people like the unhealthier option...
uwu
Flour for burritos. Corn for turkey enchiladas.

2 RisposteIt honestly boils down to chicken or beef

Finally! A poll worth participating in!

Cooked corn superior... Virgin flour tortillas inferior

depends on the application, imo corn tortillas work best for pretty much every tortilla based latin food except for burritos and quesadillas

6 RisposteI can’t eat tacos, or quesadillas, or really anything that uses tortillas, but I CAN eat tortillas themselves, and to that end; Flour tortillas are the clear superior choice. They actually don’t taste half bad. Corn tortillas on the other hand are kinda nasty by themselves. Back when I could eat cheese I used to prefer corn tortillas for quesadillas, though.

1 RispondiHomemade flour tortillas. I’m not a fan of the store bought ones.

4 RisposteModificato da Cobravert: 8/13/2021 4:13:29 PMI'll as gladly eat either. I'm not picky on this. Pros: Wheat - Always soft and seams to keep juices at bay well Corn - The taste, the crunch (unless of course it's a soft corn tortilla), but corn seems to add a more authentic Mexican ambiance to the flavors. Cons: Wheat - It's more or less bland and flavorless Corn - It does not weather juices well. The shell will absorb them and begin falling apart in every direction you don't want it to.

1 RispondiAs long as it's not the garbage hard shell taco. I will eat it. -blam!- you hard shell tacos.

Corn. Easily.

Corn for tacos/flautas & enchiladas, flour for quesadillas & chilaquiles. But most places have really shitty flour tortillas, so I usually end up going with corn when given the option. There’s one bakery, though, that makes amazing flour tortillas, and it’s one of the only reasons I enjoy visiting home.

6 RisposteHomemade corn tortillas. Not those flat things you buy at the store.
