I Don't Want to Say Armor is Ugly, But...
Am I the only one who feels the armor designs over the last few years have just been... lame? Like, the designers definitely know how to get some complex designs, and that's cool and I'm sure many sets appeal to some, but most of them seem to only appeal to niche tastes. Why does every design need a plethora of belts, buckles, pouches, straps, and just ornamental details all over? Can we get a few simple, clean designs again?
Here's hoping the new seasonal armor for season 15 looks good to most everyone! ^^

2 RisposteI’m dreading what next season’s armor will look like, and there’s really no excuse seeing as Last Wish, Crown of Sorrow, and some other seasonal/ raid amor pieces/ amor ornaments have looked amazing in the past. Bungie has the aesthetic prowess to make nice looking amor, but they’re either lazy, or have an ulterior motive for making less than desirable armor.

🍺 I would love to see a set of Golden Age Military Style Combat Armor! Make that one of the options or at least an ornament option. I hate the Midieval Space Clown Armor. 🤡

The Season of the Arrival ornaments are cool. Especially the Hunter leg piece. That was the last time any seasonal armor was calling out to me.

It's bad designers trying to use every prefab shape in their editing program. They are nice to use, but solely relying on them to make something without making an original peice makes it look awful. The helmet for the hunter and titan looks like they spammed the cone tool/brush inside of zbrush or whatever sculpting program was they used. Never the less, it's an abomination.

This whole year of content was kind of disappointing with armor and weapon design to be frank. Last time I check this was a looter shooter and if all the loot looks like hot shit then there goes half the reason for putting in the effort to get it.

lets not forget the so not Persian armor for the hunter with the ski cap with the poof and the smiley cartoony lemur face totally mismatching the rest of the set.then we get office casual hunter with business casual slacks,sweater vests let's also mention leather jacket cloak.now we get sea cow armor for ib from previously unmentioned aquatic warriors in the forgotten sea,wtf where were they hiding the entire time? hunter set is the only decent one minus the stupid Buddhist monk note helmet.i feel truly for my Titan and warlock brothers and sisters for clothing options.bad enough geomags are completely worthless now but curling iron armor,Please

I want to give good criticism so it will be heard and not ignored as toxic but I can’t. Nearly all the armour in D2 has been bad relative to D1. There is no way the same people did armour in both games

If you notice, the base sets of seasonal armor are pretty reserved while the ornaments tend to go all out. I’ve just turned the base armor into ornaments and bing bang boom, bobs your uncle

There hasn’t been much armor I haven’t liked to some extent. At least for Titans. I’m happier with the options in D2 than I was with the options in D1.
