Don’t wanna spoil anything. Just don’t go in with any type of expectations.

2 RisposteWhat exactly were you expecting? Some dark souls fight? Some kingdom hearts press triangle type of fight with animations? You guys are clearly playing the wrong game. Destiny is a shooting game, the quria fight had a simple mechanic like you would see in raids. The boss had its own unique attacks, I was expecting a terrible half baked fight but this boss fight with quria was actually really good. Maybe the lesson here for you guys is don’t set your expectations high thinking you are going to end up having some revolutionary type of boss fight. Destiny has never been dark souls and the boss fights have never been like kingdom hearts. Destiny boss are all about dealing damage when its time to deal damage and move around the area when its time to deal with adds or dunk orbs. That has never changed and it never will

1 RispondiMassive disappointment. Quria got the Xol and Nokris treatment. Given how much of an influence and impact she has on basically everything, she deserved more than that as a culmination of her story arc. A 10 minute mission ain't it. She either should have been a dungeon final boss, or left to be one of the bosses of the raid that comes with Witch Queen. If the mission boss wasn't Quria, and rather another enemy that has had less impact on so many events over the course of the franchise, it would have been fine. But to make it a Taken Vex Mind that knows Hive Sword Logic and is in control of the Dreaming City curse cycle as the big baddie we kill this season, and reduce it to that short and easy of a mission, it is a huge let down. We had something going this season with improved storytelling, and they blew it with the final showdown. There should have been a surprise dungeon drop. I don't even care if the loot pool for the dungeon was the same as every other Expunge mission, but the the sake of story and lore, that deserved so much more than what we got.

People forget the taken have ascendant realms. JS

It was okay. Was expecting a little more, but considering there were complaints back at BL launch about story bosses being too difficult, I guess this was what I should have expected. At the LEAST, Quria was not given the Undying Mind treatment from Undying where it was killed in the six-man matchmade activity.
-
Yea, it was aight. Nothing spectacular though.
-
1 RispondiIn typical destiny fashion my instincts kicked in and I barely got to see the bosses 2nd phase... because I melted it... really fast
-
1 RispondiI don't think that's the last we'll see of Quria. That was way too easy.
sus
-
Boss was cool looking, but eh, meh.
-
1 RispondiBoss fight was kinda bland since you spend more time on the mini bosses then the actual boss. Boss looked sick. No cutscene at end. Boss needs more health.
-
It's no Presage ,not even close , but I would say it's on par if not a little better than Harbinger
-
Don’t wanna spoil anything. Just don’t go in with any type of expectations.
It was visual great, the mechanics were pretty good, the difficulty was disappointing.
-
1 RispondiFor what was there, I liked it. Quria did die pretty quickly though, so I hope that it wasn't a true death and that it was a ploy. Quria's got too much investment to recieve the Nokris treatment.
-
I liked it but it was rather anticlimactic. I feel like this season as well as all of D2 can be summed up as, "really freaking cool ideas, really poorly executed."
-
5 RisposteI felt underwhelmed. It’s been since Taken King that we have hard lore about Quria and she just kind of dies in a easily safe boss fight. It felt anti-climatic for the scope and power of this taken vex and the control it had over the City, not to mention the Dreaming City. Not all stories have a fanfare of closure and white knuckle moments but this did feel like a Xol moment of “wish this was used in a more grandiose fashion.”
-
Just keep shooting and dying till it dies
-
I thought Quria looked great. Mission was decent imo
-
7 RisposteWhat expectations should I have? Destiny is a point and shoot game. I pointed and shot. I don’t get what people expect from this basic game.
-
Liked the boss fight. Unique enemy with unique abilities. I'll take it. Didn't like the first part that was just a repeat of previous missions. Would have been MUCH better if the boss had its own, unique defenses inside the Vex network and the entire mission was actually a new strike.
-
2 RisposteIt was a good culmination. Playing part of each of the original expunged, the final boss was a reasonably well done fight that uses previous mechanics. I think a lot of people inflate Quaria’s strength which is more in technical ability than brute strength. Like it was a threat because it was hidden away and is a vex mind but like Atheon isn’t actually that physically strong.

When he started tossing the deletion bars it was super cool. I wish more bosses had attacks as intimidating
-
Was fine with it. It could have been more. Personally I don’t think that’s the last we’ve seen of Quria…
-
It wasn't more than I could handle, but it's definitely asking a bit too much to try and get it done Flawless.
-
6 RisposteI loved it actually, it was a hectic fight with a long awaited lore character It blended Vex and taken into one big fight and I was very impressed.
-
We have killed bigger enemies. I wasn't expecting much from a 10$ encounter. Sad expectations.

4 RisposteBungie turns a powerful enemy in the lore into an easy story boss They Xoled Quaria!!!!
