First off this isnt about bungie and the comments towards stasis and pvp and all that stuff, I do think that the criticisms there are valid and even some of the frustration
What I’m talking about is being nicer to eachother as players like stop trying to start arguments with everyone on the forums if you dont like the game or someones take on it just leave it
In game can we knock the whole t-bagging thing on the head we’ve got emotes tbf
After match messaging. if you do this sorta stuff you’re toxic, why go out of your way to remind that blueberry with the .7 kd that he’s trash or moaning at someone using jotunn, there’s just no need
Tldr: we as players need to do better as toxicity is just as big an issue as stasis, pvp issues and anti cheat and contributes to a declining population in the playerbase it’s also the second biggest reason (after stasis) that nobody wants to play trials
Be kind guardians

It's a universal means of communication. If anything, the emotes are more offensive than teabagging.

I've had to mute 3 people today. Your post ain't working.

2 RisposteNo. None of you people would last 5 minutes in old MW2 lobby

1 RispondiI agree, the whole internet needs to be more kind. the problem is, anonymity allows people to be who they truely are, and most people are toxic, as evidenced by this forum and many others.
In game can we knock the whole t-bagging thing on the head we’ve got emotes tbf
T-bagging existed long before Destiny, and is part of Bungie's legacy, for it began in Halo. Where do you think this avatar came from? There are lots of taunt emotes that are not really any different than t-bagging, for it is all done for exactly the same reason. Plus you don't have to have one of your slots taken with it as an emote, so you get 5!

Man if you think this community is toxic do I have a community to show you go to the league of legends forums watch a couple league matches that community it's 1 million times more toxic then here this is nothing but common banter
-
3 RisposteAs someone who grew up in halo and Cod lobbies... Hahaha haha... Oh that's a great joke. Seriously that will never happen, people who have been gaming for years know that asking people to be nice is like talking to a brick wall, and asking a community to be nice is tantamount to telling a swarm of bees not to sting you. It will always happen and will always be a thing... Can we reduce the amount of actual toxicity? Yeah just be yourself. ( actual toxicity referring to actual hateful and disrespectful conduct and not messing around joking.) Here's what I suggest... Just be yourself, treat people how THEY treat you. They treat you kindly? Give it back. They treat you like a C bomb? Give it back in full. Nothing you do will ever stop general online gaming talk. NOW the forum hate and disrespectful crap we see? Yeah that needs to change.
-
3 RisposteSo here's the thing. We are without a doubt, toxic, self centered, salty, sweaty, pieces of garbage. You are. I am. They are. You can't force people to become altruistic and bestow grace and patience to someone who just killed you, when that is exactly what you were trying to do to them. Give your two cents, on the state of the game, mechanics, or bugs. But don't tell people what to do, or how to behave. The community will do that naturally based on their environment. (You hear that Bungie!) If everything is broken or in a really horrible state, the people will become that and the game will die. As it should. C'est la vie.

Let the toxic people be toxic all you got to do is ignore them and don't get baited.
-
Even before Stasis Trials wasn't exactly popular among most players.... If someone is being toxic I just report them and move on.
-
The little social -blam!- are gonna be aggressively insulting- they are the victims of real bullies in life; theirs is a lonely existence filled with deep self loathing and impotent rage at their victimizers. I pity them.

6 Risposte*chews gummy crayon* You aren't you when you're hungry.

2 Rispostetotally support this i think a lot of the toxicity exisits because of the frustration players have with the game

The community is friendly, welcoming, helpful, and charitable. There are some toxic individuals, but that is the case in all communities.

2 RisposteIt’s always the same turds anyway. The “yeah boyss” brah 16 year olds who smoke bongs over their mic with cruddy mainstream Disney rap music in the background while wearing a Chicago bulls cap backwards with the label still on the brim. Drinking a monster energy drink. Just ignore them. They all come out of the same puppet factory.

4 RisposteGet a time machine and play on some Xbox 360 CoD lobbies. Get some hair on your chest.

2 RisposteFound the Guardian who never lived through the OG Halo / Modern Warfare era of gaming.

I mean if there is anything we can do, that even Bungie themself have a more obvious connection to us let´s be honest, NOBODY thought Bungie listens in this forum, NO - -blam!-ING BODY - When they canceled Sunsetting (So they can work on the devil of monetization of stuff you already unlocked) , people here thought "Bungie listens" but nah..... We were all assuming they where making the game for us, but we are all wrong They are still making the game for themselves, and are controll-freaks The Power-Feeling is gone

I said this before and got massive hate for it and toxic messages lol. Im happy to know this one is trending.

Regarding Stasis I think mods that counter the negative effects just a bit would help the overall game both pvp and pve. Mod? coco: slowed effect reduced by 32% but adds 10% damage taken (or something that makes more sense that that obviously). Or something that completely removes the freeze in pvp. Feels like bungie (in some areas) is headed in the right direction. And I love those parts.....buuuut —- Right now I personally only hate the progression system (and sub systems), masterworks, and the transmog crap. That’s it. Progression: Enhancement cores for Cubs to infuse? Really stupid layered system. I’m running out of everything fast. I liked the forsaken system after they fixed it with bounties. Hate spider still and I hate this system right now. Master-working: liked it during CoO. It was perfect, now we have this new system and new Resource we need. Hate it. Transmog: you already know.....
-
1 RispondiMost of the toxicity comes from unbalanced PvP- Bungie knows this - you get rid of SBMM casuals are going to have a miserable time getting those crucible guns...get stomped 9 times in a match by the same guy and see how you feel about him... Bungie has more to say about toxicity than the people who play it - overpowered pay to win supers, worked best PvP going against casuals, Transmog, xp throttling... I think you should be directing this at the toxic developer who can do things better but refuses too...

The game sucks in the fact that is a frustrating mess. Whether is a bug or a crash or just crappy implementation of what sounds like a good idea. Grinding for an item that is useless. Struggling to find a full Fireteam. Too many shitty things about a beautiful looking game.

Modificato da cheese_foreva: 5/19/2021 3:33:43 AMYou can't Tar all of us with the same brush! There are some bad apples for sure. The salt community is the worst by far. Stay clear of PVP and all their toxicity stays with them.

With respect: no the satisfaction I get from crushing a early bagger is worth it. You get bagged all game, then pull the win bag back, you know they are big mad. Also hate mail makes me laugh.
