First off this isnt about bungie and the comments towards stasis and pvp and all that stuff, I do think that the criticisms there are valid and even some of the frustration
What I’m talking about is being nicer to eachother as players like stop trying to start arguments with everyone on the forums if you dont like the game or someones take on it just leave it
In game can we knock the whole t-bagging thing on the head we’ve got emotes tbf
After match messaging. if you do this sorta stuff you’re toxic, why go out of your way to remind that blueberry with the .7 kd that he’s trash or moaning at someone using jotunn, there’s just no need
Tldr: we as players need to do better as toxicity is just as big an issue as stasis, pvp issues and anti cheat and contributes to a declining population in the playerbase it’s also the second biggest reason (after stasis) that nobody wants to play trials
Be kind guardians

Here's an idea go out and buy whatever how many copies Destiny2 sold. And then give them away for FREE. Then your opinion would be valid until then those who bought the game will always have valid reasons why they are satisfied/ not satisfied with a game. But if you are not happy with the negative reviews of this game or people generally frustrated with this game then how about you move on and stop reading those comments.

5 RisposteI agree, there is no room for toxic behaviour and negative non constructive feedback in a video game. If everyone cut the attitude and played well together everyone would enjoy themselves more. Time to grow up people and show some humanity toward your fellow gamers. Side note, these tbaggers and toxic people wouldn't behave this way in public so why do it online? Cowards.

5 RisposteYeah some dude messaged me yesterday talking about stats and explaining to me why I need to get out of Iron Banner
-
for real i was in a thread yesterday and this one guy legit was throwing f bombs at people
-
As my mother use to say... "Some people just want to watch the world burn". I wish it were different, but sadly that will never happen.
-
2 RisposteI personally love getting t bagged 🤤
-
Don’t cast pearls before swine. “Toughen up” isn’t always meant with disdain. I mean usually it is, but sometimes it’s a reminder that these people act this way because they want to. You’re better off learning to ignore them than to try and pick up after them.
-
May the odds be ever in your favour with that
-
Ive noticed you cant message players after a match you can only report them?? I usually like to send gg’s with a player im always running in to during the match…and its pointless to send toxic messages……

3 RisposteI like stasis. 😎👍

Enjoyed this post! At the end of the day this is a game (and not even an esports title) so people should be trying to have fun, not spread hate or ignorance towards each other. The community can be polarizing at times and hateful and that's not why we play. I have been called some terrible names just because I forgot to leave a fireteam for too long or I made a wrong play in trials and its pretty sad how people act in an environment that is supposed to be fun and enjoyable!

It’s called just being nice. Anyone who argues against that by calling people “soft” are just insecure.

3 RisposteModificato da JazzyPaladin477: 5/18/2021 10:59:42 PMI love this thread! You post about not being toxic and every internet tough guy and basement dwelling forum goon comes out beating their chests about SJW to illustrate your point perfectly! Well played sir, well played. Just look at them all gnashing their teeth, it’s magnificent!

1 RispondiAgreed. Also: can we stop expecting players to play at their best all the time? I wear Flawless because I struggled to earn it and i’m proud i finally did. It was tough but I legitimately achieved it through self-improvement and determination. But ONE BAD COMP GAME and I get asked how I ever earned it, or told to kms??? Seriously? It’s one bad game. People, your singular experience with a player does not define their overall ability. And even if it did? Just be f***ing nice lol
-
I 100% agree with you. Whenever I make forum posts, nobody helpful actually helps me. Instead, its just people who go around different forums so they can post toxic replies.
-
1 RispondiI’ve had people adding and messaging me on steam calling me every name under the sun for beating them in rumble. Im nowhere near the top 0.1% but they’re usually the ones who act the worst when they get sauced.
-
Majority of people are toxic cause they just suck but don’t wanna admit it. The rest is just stasis.
-
Modificato da More Power: 5/19/2021 5:52:48 PM
We as a community need to cut this toxicity out
Take solace in the fact that the overwhelming majority of those voting on this thread support your position.

The amount of gatekeeping PVE players who demand PVP be removed is crazy. Probably the most toxic thing about this community. You need to have done 39834038940 raids before to get into a discord group or raid clan, but the same people will cry about needing 3 heavy kills for an IB quest. Astounding.

Bungie could fix this easily. Post kill, the screen goes black for a few seconds until respawn instead of being able to watch through your ghost. You wouldn’t even see anyone emoting or t-bagging, making it useless. There would of course be a workaround in team chat since someone could tell you someone was bagging. But again, who cares at that point. In trials/elimination at the end of the match, just stop the match, go to the results.

Can't say I don't enjoy getting hatemail though... usually means I'm doing something right. ;)

24 RisposteKiss my grits Bungo creates this toxic atmosphere by releasing bugged content truth hurts.

1 RispondiOne of the best times I had in D1 was when me and a rando bagged each other constantly when the other died. Good times in the strike playlist

Toxicity and trolling is fun, I most certainly will not stop it.
