Like many have stated before, increments of 1 are not small enough for mouse sensitivity adjustments. I use a sensitivity and 4.5 and am not able to change my mouse dpi settings. I don't want to throw away my muscle memory developed playing competitive games and start over using Destiny 2's limiting choices. I quit playing Destiny 2 a while back with 300+ hours in the game and every once in a while I come to give it another go. As soon as get on, I remember the reason I haven't started again...because of this sensitivity issue. I kind of wish I could just get a notification letting me know if/when this issue is fixed. This has been requested so many times and clearly there is a lot of support for it. The implementation for this sort of thing has got to be super easy too. I don't understand why Bungie ignores all requests for this very easy to implement feature. It's standard in pretty much every fps game on pc.
