At this point I just dont know what to say anymore. I'm personally not even a fan of stasis, I think its cheese as hell in pvp and shitty in pve. But I was hoping for a reason to to at least try out the subclass again.
When i first heard about the new titan and warlock frags/mods I naively thought that warlocks would get something on the same level. But yet again we get some tasteless passive turret ability. Like seriously, where is all the creativity you guys show when making titan and hunter changes???
The turret is mediocre in pve and buns in pvp, you need all 5 shots to hit the target to proc anything and the target acquisition, fire rate, and projectile speed is absolutely horrible. Literally all this turret accomplishes can be done with the regular grenade ability. Unlike the hunter and titan, it provide no real meaningful or rewarding alternative to the regular build.
The turret thing was cute with the arc subclass and shouldve just stayed there. This will most likely go In the same bin as all the other warlock niche/ "I'll try for a week but never use again abilities and exotics".
EDIT:
just found out the new warlock exotic doesnt work in pvp LMFAOO BRUH. XD

I would much prefer to have the turret on titan, gotta be honest. Imagine combining it with Citans!!!
-
3 RisposteGod damn warlocks always complaining about cool stuff. I would love a turret but no I get a shittier version of the titans aspect
-
2 RisposteI wanted a turret. ☹️
-
And I didn’t want an altered slide melee

1 RispondiBungie HQ: ok, we are thinking up new abilities for our new subclass, what do we do? Guy 1: staff Guy 2: chaining ice Guy 3: turret Bungie HQ: *looks at guy 3* genius.
-
Yep, Bungie really needs to show some love to the poor warlocks. They are outgunned and outclassed by hunters and titans.
-
2 Rispostei think its really cool! check ehroars video on it.
-
Dear Bungie, warlocks don't want to have to sacrifice their grenade to do EVERYTHING. Fixed it for you.

14 RisposteThe exotic not working in PvP was 100% intentional and it would’ve been completely broken in PvP. Two tapping with hand cannons by getting a kill without reloading? Yeah no thanks. As for the new Aspect, I don’t think your tried it out properly. It’s completely superior to Frostpulse. A 25 second turret freezes more then any other grenade by a factor of 3, if you properly spec into it you can have a total of 5 or 6 turrets up at a time which can stun lock the whole room while at the same time keeping your Hedrons buff up constantly. Just having Demolitionist/Wellspring gives you 100% uptime of your turret/Hedrons It’s pretty meh in PvP though I’ll give ya that.
-
Warlocks suffer two mega nerfs, has a new turret that sucks, and a exotic that only works in half the game. And Bungie wonders why we think that Bungie hates Warlocks.

28 RisposteModificato da mikeyrox1234: 2/13/2021 4:11:06 PMShit... I’ll take a Void Turret for Sentinel... Ungrateful ass Warlocks 😆
Joking obviously... kind a. But I’d definitely take a Void Turret for Sentinel. 😎
Edit: After reading replies from Warlocks I take back my “joking obviously” statement. Y’all are some ungrateful ass Guardians.

I've been having fun with the turret, but it definitely needs some tweaking. I tend to throw it on the opposite side of a doorway in PvP, because as far as I can tell, it doesn't show up on the radar; then I'll dip behind cover, and wait for someone to rush in looking in my direction, and it will blanket them from behind and confuse the hell out of them. The biggest problems with the turret, are it's just overall unreliable. I've had times where somebody is 2 feet away from it, and it still won't 'spot' them; it needs 360 degree vision, and the projectiles need atleast a 20-30% speed increase; they move nearly as slow as walking speed and are horrendously easy to dodge, and don't even get me started with how easy the turret is to kill. It overall just needs some tweaks to be viable in PvP, as it already is decent in PvE, and buffing it would benefit it more there as well, as well as fix some of the problems; the biggest of them being enemy detection.

turret fun when chilling, turret stupid when sweating

1 RispondiWhen I was looking at the aspects I was real suprised that the warlocks didn't get a shatter aspect (I really only play titan but I still like to look at them all) titans got an insta0-freeze (it's pretty decent) and hunters got a support (also pretty decent) I figured warlocks would get some type of staff blast thing that would allow them to shatter but nope, instead some wacky turret (that seems pretty fun for PVE at least)
-
i like the turret
-
I disagree, I like it and it could be good for zoning in Trials. It’s just not OP like the Titan and Hunter aspects. And it slows on the initial hit, it just takes multiple hits to freeze the target. If it froze in one hit, it would be broken. People are pretty defenseless when they’re slowed, especially with all the unnecessary debuffs to things like weapon accuracy that are associated with slow atm.

2 RisposteIs the turret weaker than that junky new exotic bow? The bow that doesn't kill thrall?
-
11 RisposteYou guys do know the best PvP players top 100 are mostly Warlocks? Solar and Void and kill every little Hunter, Titan and Warlock crybabies alike?
-
I like the turrets, I don’t like how weak it is. Seriously, titans and hunters have some insane slide or shatter abilities and warlocks only got a weak turret. The double standards in this game is ridiculous.
-
2 RisposteGuess you cant build your character then 😂 Its top tier in PvE.
-
I love the turret. Don't listen to this bungie lol.
-
I actually really like it in PVE. I don't really care for PVP tho so I can't say how well it works in PVP. PVE tho? Extremely helpful if you ask me. Huck it at a crowd of adds coming towards you from a mile away and watch them all freeze. Pick em off with your scout or bow. Easy add control. And it'll keep a boss frozen in its place, freezing it over and over. The range on its seekers go A LOT farther then I was expecting it to.
-
11 RisposteMore effort on Bungie’s part to keep Warlocks from being competitive in PvP. What we get one subclass and we’re expected to be ok with just one? This Aspect is the same thing. Really? A turret? No Shatter ability? Oui vey.
-
9 RisposteI would like a shatter ability. Grenade is too precious to give up.

Hunters and Titans make up their community ($$$$) so they make sure they are happy. I've had a few crayon eaters and edge lords say that warlock is the easiest class..... no it isn't we have high survivability in pve thats it. I'm sure bungies gonna roll out a nerf for well of radiance cause warlocks are being sunset.
