I just tried to deactivate cross-save because I won't be playing on Xbox any longer and my PC characters are now stuck on Xbox and inaccessible from Steam - my PC characters have been my primary characters for the last 2+ years. All my expansions are purchased on my PC account, not on my Xbox so none of that content should've carried over. Help please!

4 RisposteHello. Is your issue resolved? You have cross save deactivated. Keep in mind that your data goes back to their respective platforms once cross save is deactivated. This means that you won’t be able to activate cross save again to use your Xbox data on Steam until the 90 day cooldown expires.

7 RisposteAccording to your profile, your main characters are on Xbox, i.e. when you had your cross-save still active, you were effectively using your Xbox character data on PC. Since you have deactivated cross-save, you will need to wait out the 90-day security lockout until you can reactivate cross-save. There are no exceptions to this policy, as stated here. Your character data cannot be transferred from one platform to another, e.g. Xbox to PC. Only way to use character data from one platform on other platforms, is to keep cross-save active.

From what I can see reading other peoples issues it looks like when I originally migrated my characters from Xbox to Battle.net they stayed tied to my Xbox when cross save was implemented - so those have been my primary characters the whole time even though I've been playing on PC. So I want to keep the Xbox characters by having them linked to my PC account. I'm an idiot. Is there any way to reset the timer on the "wait 90 days" before relinking - or am I SOL for the next three months.
