Title. Why lock anybody who didn't purchase the brand new expansion out of this double reward week?
I was looking forward to getting off work this Saturday and spend the remaining weekend on this, only to find out it comes with a ~40 bucks price tag.
It's weirdly selective and immeasurably disappointing.

In order to get people to buy the new expansion silly

2 RisposteIt is on sale for $30 right now on steam, js. But yeah sometimes the NF is from dlc, it's pretty common considering how few strikes are even in the game anymore.

Modificato da a hobo: 1/4/2021 12:17:14 PMI'll address all the short brained "bUt WhY gEt paID cOnTent FoR fRee.?" answers here, since it's not worth the effort replying to you all individually. First and foremost, the nightfall playlist is not paid content. The new campaigns, weapons, dark subclasses etc, plus whatever seasonal, is paid content. You get those, I don't. I'm cool with it. Ordeals are accessible to everybody and so are Double Loot weeks - or so they should be - even to New Light players. (which I'm not btw) Secondly, I'm not "getting" any content. I can't have this content or access it in any way on demand - so paying customers already have a strong advantage over ol' freerider me. I can name a few games that would allow you to play content just in the odd case it popped in some random rotation playlist, but Bungie has decided they don't want to go this route. Again, I'm cool with it. What I'm saying is, if Bungie makes the effort of tailoring a week's Ordeal to make it a Double Loot week in the first place, they can also do as much as to handpick a strike from the base game that everyone can play. They've done it before, they can do it now. And I don't see how that's unfair to anybody besides those who are left out this special week.

But why should you get paid content for free?

The new strikes will ALWAYS be part of the ordeal. If you don't keep up with expansions that's on you. You can't get everything for free!
