I’ve never used the cells and probably won’t.
Never been a fan of builds that require chance. I prefer guarantees.

They removed armaments so now I have to use this stupid build. Cells, ammo bricks are always falling off the map and people still preferred Bungie to remove armaments. Bungie listened to cherries crying over it and act on it. Now veterans has to suffer.

Yeah I know. The chance factor is that it drops when you need it to. Having to time enemy kills to make it drop is more trouble then it’s worth.

I get cells if I kill 4 or less enemies with my ikelos SMG or seraph HC. One kill for certain foes

Yeah but will it be useful when it does drop. That’s the chance factor. You have to count your kills and make it drop when it’s useful or it’s just a waste. I pick ones I know will pay out every time they are used but as a striker Titan I’m probably playing a little different then a gun build.

Solar splash damage is the most consistent way to spawn them. Solar grenades, solar weapons with dragonfly, jotunn, 1k voices all work better than a seventh seraph weapon.

I thought it had to be a seventh seraph weapon that makes the kill?

There's a mod that creates cells from solar splash damage. When you blow up a warmind cell, it creates solar splash damage. I have gotten 4 in a row from just blowing up my cells, plus the other solar splash methods I mentioned.
