1 RispondiLook y'all need to chill. That shotgun is coming to the game one way or another. Do u really think if the community cant meet the goal then we would not get the gun? HELL NO! Of course we are going to get it! Either bungie will fudge the numbers to make it look like the community actually did it (unlikely) or reduce the goal altogether (super likely). It doesn't matter if u partake in this event or not. The shotty is coming regardless.

1 RispondiI think Bungie was trying to just prolong content this season rather than provide more content. If it was lackluster content but we still had enough to be entertained then fine. If we had very quality content but not much of it then fine I can deal with that. But this lackluster and very thin content this season. I get it is a business strat for them so they can focus elsewhere and still try to get people playing, but make the content better! Public event completions was a cheap way out for bungie to involve the player base. Make missions like zero hour and such that are challenging and still require us to play together! Don't gridlock the quest steps for so long based purely on player base and how well the game is doing right now (which isn't extremely well). Should of made a master bunker clear or master lost sector that was unique in order to unlock the other steps or some sort of hard match-made activity to get us to play together. Not 9m public events which get extremely repetitive.

3 RisposteLiterally logged on, looked at the quest logged out. I played Destiny every day but for I think the last 6 resets I've just logged on looked at eververse and logged off. If the quest was an actual quest I'd be like hell yeah but no its just either do bounties or do public events. Game has really lost its spark or appeal to play anymore at least for me. I want to get back into it but not now...

Ok, it's now been 26 hours since the quest went live and the average progress in 24 hours is right around 2% per planet. [b]IF[/b] the completion rate stays the same it will take [b]50 DAYS[/b] to complete the quest step. Since the season ends in just over 26 days it does not look like this has a snowballs chance in hell of getting completed before the season ends unless Bungie adjusts the requirements OR they fudge the numbers. It's a good thing I couldn't care less about it, however I was looking forward to the "story" associated with it.

But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defences, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

IB - no one is playing, every match is laggy teams with the most meta weapons along with long wait time for matches. Quest - requires 9 million public events without matchmaking...

Almost feels like we are being set up by Bungie to actually fail, which will mean the almighty does make it to the tower, destroying part or all of it.. They get rid of Titan in the process, just look at the availabliity of stuff from Titan compared to anywhere else, it says limited time on it. We must then use the Farm which hasn't had anyone in it since sometime during the first year.. frees up game space for other things and moves the story forward and also lets the community fail an event. My opinion only.. but.. seems likely.

The community for the most part successfully boycotts the event since we only have 3 week left of the season. Bungie adjusts the value. The impossible answer would be bungie does not bend the knee and the exotic never releases. wont happen. Just hold out for a week guys and hold bungie hostage with their own poor design. We cant stage server crashes like Luke Smithes generation did in WoW(yea this happened). But we can force them to bend the knee, that or have an story quest chain and exotic never see the light of day which they wont allow. [b]Never before has the community's choices been able to impact the season progression. Lets not waste this opportunity people and make a statement to Bungie.[/b]

After all do they really want to make the felwinter come back just to have to work on nerfing it a week later OR bringing it back “half baked” lol. I tried doing the event solo with randos but failed about 4-5 times then went on to something else....

And it doesn't look interesting as a weapon either. Shotguns suck in general on top of that.

I miss when the story mode was playable and wasn’t just jumping through progressively more difficult hoops, doing completely random things in order to fill a progress bar. None of the content from the past three seasons has felt meaningful because that’s all it is, is just doing stuff to fill the bar and get the next step to do more meaningless things to fill another bar. It all just feels so trite and like I’d rather be playing Halo or D1.
