They have stated their plans on what is very likely to come in the distant future. As Bungie's management system is extremely slow and very thorough it's a safe bet to say. Yep these changes are coming. You don't know any more about transmog here than anyone else. If you want to think that it's going to be something ridiculous be my guest. I highly doubt whatever the cost is will be too much for endgame players.

Do you not see how little brightdust you get for activities? They could have just added it, it's something people have been asking for. It's not like it was their idea, and we should thank them, the community asked for it, it was the community's idea. But noooo, it has to be for silver (real money). That basically means you're STILL paying real life money for ornaments! Why would I thank them for that? Instead of buying them at Eververse you're buying them at the transmog. C'mon man, use your head.

An exotic emote/thingy costs about 2000-3500 bright dust. As a person who used to play multiple characters that was never that much for me. Keep in mind they also said the new bright dust changes are going to increase bright dust earnings for single character players. Never said we should thank them. I said there is no reason to be negative and that for once people should be content. Instead of posting something negative about Bungie it'd make much more sense to say "Huh. Neat. I hope that works out.". We have no idea what the method for obtaining ornaments will be. As we both no nothing it doesn't make sense to argue about it. While I feel that it will likely be pretty easy, you feel that it's gonna be ridiculous. Nothing can be done about that. I'm assuming it's going to be an endgame grind for ornaments, just like masterworking armor (which people lost their minds over day one before realizing oh wait I should wait before masterworking). The only one not using their head here is you. If the system for transmog ends up being terrible I'll eat my words. But I highly doubt it will be.

Yep I mean lets be honest, this is a pattern, not more than 20 minutes after this went up mesa sean, houndish, and a few more were posting up vid's pimping it hard, this is the usual bait and switch tactic used by Bungie to generate hype over what we all know will be just more disappointment, but hey if you want to cheer go nuts.

The changes. Are happening. People have been wanting them for a long time. I'm not saying people NEED to be happy and be positive. I'm saying that being negative doesn't make sense.

It’s easy to see why some players would stay negative. They’re still raw. Yeah, it’s just a game and who cares, but this is some people’s main pastime and is important. They have created an emotional connection with the devs that doesn’t make sense but exists. Give it time. Sure, some will probably complain forever, but most will simmer down and appreciate the changes.

These changes would mean more if they didn’t coincide with their next expansion/ season pass that they want people to buy
