There was a time when my D1 disk NEVER left my PS3, then X1 Honestly, I always made the joke that if I ever put another game in, my console wouldn't know what to do. But now... now I haven't even booted the game up since the first day of the season, and honestly I don't think I'll be buying any future expansions. It's a shame, but this game and company has gone into a direction that I no longer care to support financially. I understand that 1 person such as myself will never move the needle in their metrics, but I have a sneaking suspicion that there are plenty more folks in my boat.

Only problem with iron banner no new armor or weapons and same sets in rotation every season for many of us that have been playing destiny 2 from the start are getting tired of it and Tess gets new inventory every season and same goes for vanguard and PvP same armor sets and weapons season after season nothing to go for

I used to play this game a ton but now I don’t. When shadowkeep came out I got all the season passes because I thought I was gonna grind them all to rank 100. I got the season 8 to rank 100 but then around the time season 9 came out I got a girlfriend. I played Xbox with her and I only got to around rank 50 in season 9. Season 10 launches. I get on to check things out then get off and go on gta and rdr2 with my girlfriend. End of March came and I broke up with my girlfriend. I’ve been trying to get back into destiny but I can’t. It’s not the same. It’s tiring. I used to always keep up with the news about the game but I don’t anymore. I’m slowly drifting away. So now I’m in a situation where if I don’t play I wasted my money or I can play the game and grind the pass. I used to get so excited when content drops came out. Even if it was a new season I would always get excited to see what was new. Not anymore. I remember when bounties weren’t the way to progress. I remember how bounties were in destiny 1. Pick a few and do them as your grinding a quest or something. Now the quest is literally a bounty. Go tell a new light player that this game used to never have bounties. They probably will laugh at you because the games progression relies so much on them. I remember I would spend hours on destiny 1 running around the plaquelands just killing enemies. I don’t because what’s the point? Remember when you needed to upgrade weapons? I do. Now there just given to you fully upgraded. Or what about reforging? That’s gone to. It’s been gone. Remember when ranking up with shaxx or Zavala meant something? I do. What about vendor refreshes? Those don’t happen now. Remember when ships, sparrows, and ghost shells could be earned in game? Like the fatal vision shop in destiny 1. Those are gone. Remember when xur was relevant? I do. Now he’s just there. Ikora is useless and should just be removed at this point. What about factions? Don’t even get me started there. This game has gone down the drain. I don’t know if it can be fixed but if it can than stop sitting on your hands and fix it. Also sorry for the long post and any spelling mistakes.

The SMG kill step in the Iron Banner quest is so much fun when Auto Rifles are now better in every way. SMG's require being about as close as a shotgun and do less damage than autos unless you have an antiope or the patience to turn in mats until you get a good one. I've got some good rolls on my IB SMG's but when you're getting mapped by Suros and Hard Light, etc, it's bloody hard to get within range to even try to kill someone let alone damage them. Then there's getting assists cause you finally get someone low and another player autos them across the map right in front of you. Stop forcing players to use weapons they don't like and/or aren't meta.
