Is trials matchmaking bugged?
So yesterday I was in an attempt to take my friend flawless. We’re pretty good overall, definitely capable. But we did 3 consecutive cards where we destroyed the first game and then got paired with what seemed like top 500’s on the second game. And I’m running with a different team today, fairly decent, not good, not bad. And we god paired against triple unbroken’s. The game after we god paired with people who just could not seem to miss. All of which we lost to. Is something going on, or is it just really bad luck?
I mean, I got 4 flawlesses in the first 2 days, now it’s all of a sudden much, much harder. I feel like matchmaking is bugged.

The MM is based on your cards win count. All the "god tier" players go flawless then farm wins 1 - 3, then reset the card. This makes it "easy" for them to get trials tokens.

3 Risposte*sigh* its because all the "god tier" players are going to farm games 1-3 on there cards since thats all you need. they are gonna farm u and your friends and there bounties. essentially, bungie made a pub stomping ground for sweaty no life streamers with nothing better to do than feel Superior than others by winning at a video game with a dead pvp.

Could it be low player count? I'm average pvp, playing with average pvp friends, and we keep getting matched against flawless armor wearers the first round.

1 RispondiModificato da indo: 3/23/2020 10:42:45 AMUnbroken is one of the most common titles nowadays. It doesn't always mean anything. Just check trials.report to see if they are really good. Sometimes in trials you think they are bad players and then top players run recovs on their accounts. You really can't tell what you are up against unless someone has really high stats because then they will probably play on their own accounts.

From my personal impression, whenever you lose a match the ticket gets harder. The first match is usually crucial, we've met fair people until our 5th match. After losing our 5th match, the rest of the matches were against people that already went to the lighthouse with higher light than us and, arguably, better teamwork, weapons and skills than us. Overall, losing a match always (somehow) brought us to play against STRONGER enemies rather than worse. That's a weird matchmaking, anyway.

It's not bugged. When APL got removed it leveled you with other players.

It's card based match making, with a slice of connection. It is not SBMM. It's like competitive was in forsakens year. If you struggled to get past mythic / fabled then... You will have difficulty sometimes depending on how match making works out. It is what it is. If you're worried about it, run the mercy. Start running 3s with your team against other teams as practice. You'll learn the maps and rotations, while gaining gun experience. Destiny is weird ... You spend more time running around than using the gun sometimes. The more gun practice you get, the better you will be.

I am pretty sure there've been players who explained how it works,but let me add my word, ToS usually works like this you can get 7 streak of bad people let's call them those who only play pve,and you can have a terrible day where you get only pvp gods. The thing is if you want to do fast 7/0 you have to go friday when it starts,or monday when it ends. Saturday sunday are the days when its filled with those who are pretty good. Also try to change people who matchmake because its region based,to do it just leave and join the person who lives in another country or even region.

3 RisposteThere’s definitely something wack with Trials MM. I’m not great, but I’m not terrible. I do fine in comp, really well if my team is decent, and in Trials I just get shit on 90% of the time.
