After seeing the most recent TWAB it is becoming more and more obvious that these should be balanced separately. Different modes and hardware have different metas as well as uses for each weapon type. Now for example, because erentil was deemed an issue in PvP all of my fusion rifles, which were arguably not great in PvE to begin with, will become even worse. This is only one example where a change implemented to balance PvP harms a weapon type's effectiveness without reason in PvE. There are countless other examples of this happening over the years in both directions. Can we please get some type of response as to why these haven't been separated? Is it too difficult to make happen or an active choice the devs are making?

It should have been done years ago.

1 RispondiModificato da Seki: 2/26/2020 2:10:26 PMI'd like to see that (and honestly, they have 600 employees and only one active franchise.. what is wrong with them.. and why don't they use their resources) They kill PvE-fusions over Erentil being stupid in pvp.. thank you for destroying the entire archetype (eg backupplan going from making them playable to taking away their identities) as well as the awesome rolls and gemplay i farmed and had.

1 RispondiI get the sentiment. But as it stands we can barely get: Sandbox changes for all of destiny in one lump drop. You want Sandbox changes for PvP console Sandbox changes for pve console Sandbox changes for PvP PC Sandbox changes for pve PC We can't even get timely changes for 1 and you want to quadruple it? Again, I get the sentiment. But realistically, 0% chance of it happening. Especially like 3 years later.

1 RispondiThey can't update regularly for one sandbox... You want four?
-
1 RispondiApparently we cant, according to Bungie
-
Is this a joke, bungie thinks so
-
7 RisposteThey could just make console and pc recoil the same

1 RispondiI agree with you, but I don't think they have the resources to do it.
-
Too much work

1 RispondiBalance and questing I want both 100% separated, not going to happen in D2 sadly. Note: there are some things that where only changed for pvp.
-
4 Rispostethey already have, to an extent also unlinking PC and CONSOLE sandboxs so that the game is easyer to balance

People have been asking this for a long time and very little has been done from them.
