Trials should be light level disabled.
It should be a test of skill not a test of how many bounties you can no life.
Do you agree or do you want unemployed streamers to have an unfair advantage?
Edit: Why do people think having LL enabled will stop cheaters (on PC. There are no cheats on console besides ddosing) ?
Do you think LL matters if the other guy is teleporting and invisible and invincible?
Do you think LL matter if you get ddos'ed flying in?
Lol
Its a weak argument made by unemployed guardians who want their mindless bounty grind to mean something in end game PvP. Move along.

1 RispondiAnother reason to have light level enabled but artifact level disabled is that it will give slightly more of a deterrence to cheaters as if they are willing to they could just grind bounties but with it being base power only that means they would have to grind pinnacle activities and by that point its not really worth it, especially if Bungie comes down harder with the ban hammer.
-
The problem now is LL has no limit. Before almost everyone could reach max LL or close to it. In a playlist like trials it should be about skill not how many bounties you’ve done. I’d be ok with a minimum LL to enter the playlist but have no LL advantage after that.

2 RisposteModificato da CorvusLumen: 2/3/2020 6:00:18 AMWouldn't this lead to the cheaters making a new account right after a ban. Then just continuing to cheat. I personally don't think trials is a good idea anyhow. I know computer will have cheaters always.. Consoles should be better able to do trials with the new anti cheat thing in place. I would assume it would deal with the denial of service attacks. There's no hope for computers, always another developer making cheating tools for it. Also making it so free to play can't join would better combat it. As free to play aren't loosing money if perm ban

I feel like having level advantages in any PvP activity is unnecessary. Even gambit for some reason has level advantages
-
7 RisposteYou realize artifact level has NOTHING to do with power level advantages? It's ONLY base power that's taken into consideration.
-
bUt mUh ePeEn!
-
I agree, I would hate to be at a disadvantage because of not being able to hit max light and not buying the DLC's. Crucible which is about all I play not rewarding end game rewards and level up items makes it way harder to max light.
-
3 RisposteNope. LL should be enabled in Trials. Otherwise why have trials when you already have Survival. If you are skilled, low LL won't hold you back.
-
2 RisposteModificato da dadomike: 2/2/2020 7:38:49 AMI would say light lvl enabled and artifact disabled, fair for everyone I think. Even though as an endgame activity it should have light lvl enabled, even with artifact enabled. In any case the good to high skill lvl players will always have the edge on lower skill players, with or without lvl advantages.
-
2 RisposteLet the light level be there iron baner has it no one complaints, raids has it no one complaints here comes com pvp tries and people complain Let there be a light 💡👍👍👍👍
-
I think PvP is too jacked up on this game to ever be a platform for competitive play. They can pretend, keep the PvP players who really want (and deserve) an end game activity moderately happy. But it's still going to be a mess, and with FTP it's just going to be much worse. The PvP end game wheel needs to be totally reinvented, my bet is Trials is coming back with some duct tape on it.
-
Trials should be permanently disabled.
There you go. I fixed that for you and shortened the whole thing.
-
That would be the same as when you make raids light level disabled. Trials is an end game right? Only for the most powerful and best guardians. This includes light level in my opinion.

Modificato da Swift: 2/3/2020 2:01:24 PM10000000% disagree. Its a no hold's bar weekend pvp challenge event. We don't need any more content that DE-incentivizes us to care about our power level.
Edit: Why do people think having LL enabled will stop cheaters (on PC. There are no cheats on console besides ddosing) ?
Because ddosing and win/kill lobbies are less likely to happen if you HAVE to use a character you invested time into getting a power level up. No LL enabled means throwaway accounts en masse. Also; Bungie addressed this back in D1 trials - not everyone is going to make it to the lighthouse and its designed like that on purpose. The content is there, and if you want you'll go get it.
-
Agreed No interest in stupid light level grinding
-
Disagree. LL requirements can slow down cheaters once banned feom makinf new accounta etc.
-
Unemployed streamers? If they stream... isn't that their job? If your intent is to imply streaming isn't a job, you'd be sorely behind the times.

Modificato da DTAKthatGuy: 2/3/2020 10:04:16 AMUmm no it shouldn’t, just remove artifact power. Sorry bro, this is end game not friend game
-
Destiny pvp......skill......Haaaaaahahahahahahaha
-
Nope let there be light and level better player wins
-
27 RisposteNope, LL should matter. It’s completely on you if you don’t work on it and the people who do should get the advantage.
-
1 RispondiI agree on this, since its a f2p game right now there is a high chance that bungie will choose to disable LL advantage so it can attracts new player or low light player, the main point of trials is the experience and the pinnacle loot at the end, this should be available to new players as well the old player.
-
The reason why disabling light levels will allow more hackers in as if they get banned they could create a new account and go straight back in. With it enabled there’s no way that’s feasible. As I’ve said already, Light level is good but the ones that the artifact give aren’t fine. That gives a massive advantage to those that spend all day every week playing.
-
Trials should stay like it is now, no where to be found. 😎
-
It's been a while, but wasn't Trials always a mode where light level never mattered?
