This Week at Bungie - 1/30/2020
This Week at Bungie, we had to fix the timeline.
Earlier this week, when we deployed 2.7.1, we discovered an issue causing players to lose various currencies. Our team immediately took action and brought the game down for maintenance while we worked to discover the source of the issue. We did this to minimize any further impact to players. We ended up doing the first-ever character rollback in Destiny’s history to ensure that no one lost any of their hard-earned materials. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by the unexpected maintenance and appreciated everyone’s patience while we worked to get the game back online.
We’ll continue to improve our efforts to minimize issues and downtime. Even though some bugs are always going to crawl through the cracks, we’ll be waiting on the other side with a swatter.
This week, we also have a rundown of the Empyrean Foundation, going live next week.

[b][i]More[/i][/b] players blind to the fact that they hate something they keep playing and don't know how to stop and take a break. More news as it develops.

Stopped playing almost a month ago. Sadly I dont miss it much. The chores were getting too tedious. As a whole, it's still one of my favorite games ever, but I'm glad I was given so many reasons to take a break, which has been nice.

Wow, I really didn’t think it could get any worse, but you guys did it, congrats! What a waste of time and effort on our part. When will the lead for destiny be removed so this kind of lackluster junk doesn’t happen anymore?

Seasons are killing this game. Such a deep lack of content right now drizzles and activitys. No meat and potatoes. for gods sake refresh the World MPC' weapon vendors. All new stock . It's been how many years? Two steps forword and 5 steps back

TWAB: We are actively and inadvertently figuring out ways to increase load times for most or all activities to increase your playtime artificially. Also we here at Bungie are currently planning nerfs to all your favorite weapons while conducting pointless player feedback on sandbox changes that will occur a year from now...maybe. In addition to this we are still listening (earmuffs on) to player feedback and will answer your questions once we've put them on the backlog(don't give a shit list) once the dev team has investigated this. Ahem, speaking of dev team, they are currently too busy at the moment making new gear for the Everscam store for you to purchase with real money next season. Also any issues with said store will prompt a swift fix unless it has to do with bright dust economy because we can't have you getting free content now could we?

1 RispondiIf in some way, somehow, this reaches the devs at Bungie: just know that I appreciate all the hard work you guys still do and have since Halo 2. Not all of us have negative feelings toward the staff members and are just happy to be playing. Most of my issues come from craptastic internet anyhow, not Destiny 2.

5 RisposteSo, we have to grind out at least 5000 of those things for 1 emblem and 1 triumph and then when all players have done enough you'll throw in a shader? That's it? That is the pinnacle of what Bungie can do? C'mon dmg04; admit it; when you saw this you even had think something like "just an emblem? Seriously? And I have to tell this to the player base?" How long does it take to make 1 emblem? 30 minutes for someone good at photoshop (someone who is actually good please tell me how long this would take)? I'm sorry but I can't call this rewards any more... This is just sad, absolutely sad

Yeah I just crossed my pc to PlayStation hoping I could get my pic account onto PlayStation so I could use both my PlayStation account and pc but no it got rid of my titan and I can’t use it and i cant deactivate because apparently I bought silver on my ps4 account but the last time I did was 1 year ago and I bought shadow keep on ps4 and now I can’t even play wtf bungie please hell

Lets see when Trials was out it had less than 1% player participation and now they are bringing it back just to keep all the whinny little sweaty byotches happy. I predict that the next season will be a colossal failure.

Really enjoyed the new sundial mission for Empyrian. No fuss no muss a less total chaos fun boss fight and simple steps to get to next part of donating with access to getting the weapon rolls you want. And an exciting mystery surprise we all hope is an early access to trials if we can make it tier 7 More of this please. Less grinding to.just pad content. All you guys gotta do is give us more loot and a few strikes and we cant complain too much. And a meaty DLC every year.

So I’m doing exactly that, I want my time to be respected even if it’s as minuscule as two hours or so running through a blank setting to memorize different symbols I have to run to to stare at the ground and grab lore from. Please bungie just speak about this officially on your own website/forums, not reddit or Twitter. This should be number one before anything else as it’s YOUR platform not a third parties.
