The recluse rant
The recluse was a problem in PVP, I must admit that. Therefore, the nerf was justified there. However, it was never a problem in PVE. Sure, it was good, but it was only good at clearing ads out. Beyond that, it couldn't do much more. For the rest of the post, I'm going to address counterarguments.
1. It's too op in PVE
As stated above, it's only good at demolishing ads. This doesn't make the gun op. Sure it may be comparativly OP to other ad clearing guns, but again, that does not mean it's objectivly OP. Objecivly, it's just far better at clearing ads than any other gun. This does not make a gun op. What makes something OP is when it can 2 shot a boss or some shit
2. It makes the game stale since it's the only weapon to use.
No one is forcing you to use the recluse. It's your choice, and if you want to have more of a challenge, just use a different gun.

It was way too good, outclassed every other primary. It’s still really good, you just gotta click on their heads.

Heavies / specials do that job. A primary not killing a boss fast is not a valid counter argument. Primaries are add clearing guns. Recluse outperformed all other primaries in add clearing. DPS, ease of use and the extra shield damage from master of arms made all other primaries redundant in comparison. It was objectively better when you use the correct comparison. The gun's PVE usage statistics alone made it clear. This is why bungo nerfed it.

6 RisposteThis all a non issue at this point. It’s already happened and the Recluse is still good at clearing out adds. It’s just at a more appropriate level for a Legendary weapon.

If recluse was the best forever, there is no reason to get any other gun... Which reduces game play.
