Forges are a F**kfest.
Once again getting screwed over by Bungie and their "level balancing"
As if forge matchmaking wasn't bad enough originally, now... well. 1/5 times load in solo. Get hammered more than i ever did at 600, not worth the trouble to solo.
So, again, ease up on the "level balancing" for old, no longer viable content!! The only people doing it are trying to finish collections at this point.
#Learn to RPG.
Make the new enemies stronger, leave the old enemies the same, and let our guardians actually grow. Because you can't "level balance" for shit.

No longer viable content? What is that supposed to mean exactly? There is more to the game than gaining power levels, it's also about farming for loot and the forges have some of the best in the game.

All I want from the forges is that each one a has a loot pool of the random drops, I’d kill for a good show of force or bad news.

Yeah the changes made forges harder, and gambit ai hit like trucks, and reckoning is a carcrash even tier 1. A lot of it is connection based, with everything in this game, networking is really funky n affects everything but they deffo made us feel weaker. Feels totally pointless levelling power when the content goes up with you. 750, forges are 750, hit 973 forges are 973, like what's the point. N I'm sure the scaling affects connections too, it's like the game lags working all the shit out. It feels like the equivalent of strong sbmm in cod, do good, player better players, so you're getting better but not seeing any progress in scores/stats, making you think why am i even playing.

Been farming for outlaw rampage kindled since recluse nerf news. Not had any problems in forges and had able teammates every time 🤷♂️

1 RispondiI don't think I ever got to do Forges solo. And they're not even hard. Besides, forges are still popular. Blast Furnace, Hammerhead and Kindled Orchid are quite popular weapons. Plenty of people hunting for them godrolls.

I ran Gofannon today and died once to an exploding shank. Otherwise it was cake. Did I miss something? It felt the same to me. Granted it should feel easier (like running lower levels in old games) but I get the level balancing, to a point.

Haven't had matchmaking problems, but I've been a lot more dead since armour 2.0 My set up is fine in every other pve activity but in forges I get slapped hard.

Solo queue ins that often? Are you using a vpn or some other routing service? I had issues with forge matchmaking when I was using a routing service. Turned it off and haven’t had a problem since.

Nice to see the "git gud" people have been up for air. Before saying someone should "git gud" maybe you should "git gud" at reading. I said "it's not worth the trouble to solo" Some people solo content in this game because it's a personal challenge, i should not be forced to do so because they can't fix things. It's not solo content. So get your heads out of your arses and go troll somewhere else.

You are correct about the balance. At 750 magically it was somehow easier than now at 974 where getting the boss done is iffy. That and the forged weapons drop at 949 when you are 953 base? Really? I just had hoped the rolls on armor might make it worth it too - to be disappointed again. IB armor seems the only worthwhile stuff

7 RisposteAgreed on the learn to rpg. It's like they've never played one. It's the only game I've ever played where the developer thinks there old content and lower level enemies should always be hard and stay that way. Every other rpg I play you grow in power and smash old content. Most developers encourage the power climb.
