So i hit 950
and all content became pointless.
odd design choice.

That’s not how it works unless you only play the game for light level and nothing else, and even then there’s still stuff to do to try and get to 960 (which is impossible but you can try)

Somebody may have said this by now, but actually about every source is relevant. Don't look at pinnacle gear as your way of going up because let's be honest, pinnacle gear is dumb. You'll probably only get 1 or 2 pinnacle power levels in a month of work due to how bad that system is. You still have an artifact though. Your artifact will give you power if you gain a lot of xp, which can be acquired from about anything. If you care about your power, then focus on your artifact bonus and look at pinnacle gear powerups as a bit of an extra.

Things to do after 950: --- Collect all new weapons w/ decent rolls (Dreambane, Raid, Vex Offensive, Season Pass) Collect all new armor w/ decent stats (Dreambane, Raid, Vex Offensive, Iron Banner) Complete all three new Titles (Undying, Moon one, Raid one) Complete all new triumphs and find all hidden lore on the moon Collect all new exotics Beat the new Dungeon and collect its signature loot (next week) Beat all Master Nightmare hunt time trials Earn all enhanced mods from Nightfalls/Iron Banner and Nightmare Hunts Participate in upcoming seasonal events (Festival of the Lost, Dawning, etc...) Re-collect any Y1/Y2 armor and mods to recreate 2.0 sets (Menagerie, Last Wish, Forge armor, etc...) Begin the push to 960 with pinnacle gear Create armor builds around exotics/abilities (Max Discipline, High armor, etc...) Max out your Season Pass Max out your Artifact and reset to try unused mods Earn all ritual weapons Play parts of the game that you enjoy to test out all your new toys and builds --- Unless you somehow have all of this, you have a ways to go still

Yeah dude I hit 950 last week. Now I’m just poking around looking for weapon rolls. Nothing to really do at this point. Working on my Undying Seal I guess? 🤷♂️

Odd post. Endgame can be whatever you want. Raids, master Nightmares, do those bounties you missed, play crucible. Do all of this with friends and improve the experience..

What exactly do you think is different from always??? How is there somehow less to do now at 950 than there was at 750/700/650/600 last year? You have all 3 seals? All the weapons? All the armor? All the triumphs? Refined build with fully masterworked gear? Full collections? 3 pinnacles? Shit, well done. I'd love to be unemployed too I guess.

2 RisposteOnce I hit 950 I just try to finish quests that I haven’t got around to completing. I’m working on the Izunamis Burden and maybe I’ll try for the NF. I still have to get Luna kills in comp and then hit 5500. I’m awful with a HC so it will be a challenge for me.

Figured that out last night. Gonna get my other 2 characters to 950 then I'm working on quests and shooting digital guardians in the face.

Hit 2100 next, hit legend. Collect all pinnacles and quest weapons. Help people in raids, do raids. Plenty of stuff to do.

I have yet to hit 950 and already feels pointless. Have not even done the story campaign yet, just mission one and that was the worse piece of crap in five years of Bungie.
