Damage Stack nerf... but wait, there's more!!!
So not only is multiplicative damage buff stacking being eliminated, BUT ALSO they are nerfing the actual individual percentages of the damage buffs. Like what the -blam!-...
This is what newer players don't know and the fanboys will ignore, Bungie knows no middle ground when it comes to nerfs. They completely obliterate the intended target.
BUT... Weapons of Light will still be a 35% damage buff. So obviously, all the other damage percentage nerfs are simply sacrificial lambs so Weapons Of Light shines above all else. Like they always do. This is coming from a Titan main, btw.
Can't WAIT for next week to hear about all the weapon NERFS incoming. Wanna start placing bets?

2 RisposteSeems pointless, nerf well to make WoL the go to. Hasn't solved the problem they say they have really. Are we surprised at this point though, the whole game has been based around nerfing and buffing later on so they can be seen as doing good, when in reality the design of the encounters are just poor.

I get the impression it's merely a change to reset the grind with the end net benefit to the player as maintaining the status quo. So, is this just the usual grind to maintain instead of gain? Edit.... Forget 'maintain', it's a hamster wheel for a net loss with the buff/debuff changes.

Lol yeah because that's what bungie has a history of doing...making us stronger yeah? Clearly they just don't want to admit they've made shit raid encounters and are nerfing the thing that exposes how shit these encounters are. Sit and shoot a boss that doesn't move or defend itself because "damage phase". How about the boss you know...fight us instead of being invincible until it sits there and lets us kill it?

26 RisposteYou forgot to include that it will take 50% longer to get a super. Listed in the recent nerfs to supers. This was one of the biggest sources for complaints from D1 to D2 players. Yet again power fantasy goes THWWWWIP. This just tightens the meta setups of PvE, and LFG posts are going to be like D1. musht have X gun with Y perk and Z exotic running A subclass and B exotic armour with C armour setup. Its people being told how to play, rather than actually discovering a better way to play.

1 RispondiThe purpose of these buffs and debuffs being toned down is to allow more diverse playstyles for high end activities without designing them around the few crazy strong abilities that many lfg groups "require." This will tone down the frequent use of Well Bots/Hammer strike Bots/Rally or Lunafaction Bots. It will make the "the obvious choices" less glaring.

Bungie would have more luck to fall down a ravine, in a remote mountainous region and discover Bigfoot than finding a middle ground when addressing buffs/nerfs in Destiny. It's always too far left of right for these guys. Remember when they nerfed Suros early in D1 ? They ended up blanket nerfing all Autos across the landscape for a long while, until the Doctrine of Passing....which eventually got nerfed and killed the archtype for the rest of the duration of D1.
