Bungie, please just stop with these hideous Titan arms.
Titan arms majority are crap, and here's why:
No it's not just the ridiculous shoulder designs, it's also how the hands are never armored to look symmetrical to the forearms. Look at mimetic gauntlets for Titan for example: The shoulders are too massive, and the forearm plating only covers the forearm and not the hands. It wouldn't be a big deal if the forearm plating was sized to be symmetrical to the hands, but they're usually massive. It makes the hands on Titans look small and unintimidating because they look like they're the size of golfballs. Making only some of the parts on the arms really bulky actually contradicts the design of Titans because it loojs like scrawny figures under all of that huge armor.
The best example of how make symmetrical gauntlets is the Prodigal Gauntlets for Titans. Perfect shoulders, and hands are armored to look symmetrical to forearms.

10 RisposteIt's not just titans. 90% of hunter capes are ugly. They're either tattered rags or weird asymmetrical designs. I miss the VoG cape, the fwc cape, the origional iron banner cape, the cool ones the speaker sold, and tons more. Titan I feel your pain. I feel your pain.

Sorry but we have to ugly shoulders because they fit perfectly with the tonker toy and bling mentality that pervades their design team. They could get some real inspiration if the looked at late non jousting armour sets. The Greenwich armoury did some great ones.

Most warlock robes are horrible took me a long while till I found one I'm happy with and it takes all the pieces around it to look great. Bonds are really bad too. Titans have next to no good looking armor sets so trust me you deserve at least 5 more.

My Titan is my third character. The reason is the soup bowl shoulders. Who ever is in charge of Titan armour design "shot them" The appearance is just so wrong. So over the top with size.

The ancient apocalypse arms are the bomb. They look like a battleship costume. I think scatterhorn chest looks best with them.

I wouldn’t mind the new design if the rest of the armor fit with the bulkiness. It looks nutty that the majestic set looks like mountains on the shoulders but then the opulent set the shoulder plates look balanced to the set. One takes a lot more grinding than the other and the only benefit you can get off of it is glow packs...

2 RisposteI dont mind asymmetry in armor design. I kinda like it actually. It's why I rock the prodigal grips on my hunter. But the massive 55 gallon drums for titan shoulders are just ridiculous. I want smaller more sleek/slender designs. Maybe it's because I'm a lady titan. But the huge shoulders are a automatic no. I finally got the stronghold exotic for my titan. Live the design. Even the oversized forearm piece which extends back from the glove looks good. Remember no back up plans from D1? Slender, elegant. The holographic purple detail was a nice touch. Or even ruin wings. Those looked amazing. Less barrel shoulders bungie. Please. Mix it up.
