1 RispondiMy opinion is that your opinion is worth jack shit and if you really cared about getting the attention of the mods you'd have PMd them instead of stepping up on a soapbox. Someone that's been here as long as your ancient Boomer ass should know the mods don't hang out here much anymore. You're just doing this for attention. -blam!-ing disgusting.

He’s right you know. Glorification leads to copy-cats. Mimicry is common in humans.

1 RispondiLmao. First time I seen this guy pull a 180. You must have really -blam!-ed up!

1 RispondiWhat did you say that p/ssed every body off 😂

13 RisposteThere isn't glorification anywhere to be found, though. So whatever point you're trying to make is moot. While the same argument could be made about the current topics like parody posts- that isn't exactly something one should do. Context matters.

8 RisposteIt is not glorification, you all are using the wrong word. Folks are trying to process their loss and others are expressing sympathy and wishing they had gotten to know the user. I get it, you do not agree with suicide. That is fine, but what you are doing, is just as wrong as you think suicide is, because you are creating a hostile environment during a time when people are hurting. Let the folks say what they need to say, let them grieve, let them work through what they are feeling and in a week, we can all come back and have a serious discussion about the issue and just not talk about Ben, so that way folks can approach it from a calmer frame of mind and more folks will be willing to listen.

Modificato da Cobravert: 8/15/2019 12:47:12 PMOr just let them have their time. Granted there are a lot of these posts right now, but only a few are commented on, since most are ignored because they're not the top trending posts. It's not B.old anymore, and not likely that those rules will ever fully be enforced again. These threads will only be for a short time. I didn't have much interaction with Ben, but it still saddens me to think that he is gone because he chose to. None of us know what exactly tomorrow holds. But these threads aren't hurting anyone. If you are that put off by them, you still have the ability to report them for "disruption', and the thread will disappear from your view for good, and not actually do any reporting to the ninja's report que. Achronos said here a long time ago now, that this particular report option is more of a 'hide thread' than an actual report for alerting the ninjas to improper posts. So if you just use the tools at your disposal, you won't see these threads anymore.

Please don’t be toxic about something serious. We cared about him.

12 RisposteIt's public mourning over a fellow forum user, who was mentally damaged, and had a terminal illness.
