Edit: fixed the title, , i love being dumb as bricks sometimes, or most of the time.
- Some entire weapon class's are not viable, and take an extraordinary amount of extra skill to succeed in (Examples are Scout Rifles in general, Sub-machine guns that are not Recluse, Side-arms that are not 3-Bursts, Linear sion Rifles, Auto Rifles, ect.)
- Maps that are short ranged have objectives that are also short-ranged, and / or long-ranged optional areas, making slide-shotgunning just the best option for most engagements
- Every class has a super that can kill you twice with one activation, combined with super mods make most game-modes feel like Mayhem
- Some Grenade's are completely outclassed in the crucible by others (You are NOT using a Voidwall grenade on a Sentinel Sub-class, you are NOT using a Tripmine instead of Swarm Grenades or an Incendiary Grenade, and Fusion grenades are almost always outclassed)
- Some Exotics are either too powerful, or other options are just bad (You warlocks ain't going to use Verity's Brow, Eye of another World, and Winter's Guile; Hunters aint using Mechaneer's Tricksleeves, Young Ahamkara's Spine, or Lucky Rasbperry, and Titans aren't going to use Actium War Rig, Mask of the Quiet One, and Eternal Warrior, while NOBODY will use the Aeon Gauntlets)
-
Weapon balance isn’t all that bad. It’s the lack of new maps/ ranking/ match making system etc. Basically everything around the actual weapon balancing (everything is kinda sorta viable) needs a refresh.

3 Rispostecrucible is shit. got bored and decided to try and finish off suros's catalyst and got slaughtered. Green ammo is the major problem, 2 guys went the whole game running together, one with erentil and one with DRB. NEVER RAN PUT OF AMMO! just get a good special weapon and either a pulse or 180 hc or smg and thats it.
-
5 RisposteTf are you talking about. This is one if the best metas weve had. Snipers are being used a lot more but shotguns are also viable. Erentil is nutty which fills the fusion department. Handcannons are in the best state theyve ever been in, and certain pulses are also very good. Polaris lance is used a lot in crucible, and some sidearms like last hope still slap. Autos do need a buff though.

9 RisposteEver Heard of "Sheople" ? Yeah, pretty much sums up the American Society as a whole which trickles down through cultures, sub-cultures, micro-cultures, and so on. So it is no surprise that it is the gamer society as well (especially with the streamer popularity leading the way). Bungie puts a sniper on the menu as a pinnacle weapon and BOOM the META changes but nothing else really did except the addition of few new snipers to farm for. Snipers were not really improved. Sheople were just herded in that direction by the Herder ( aka BUNGIE). Don't get it twisted, I am not bashing the game or hating on anyone, it is just the obvious facts. I really like the game on a love/hate type relationship level. The Sheople mentality of the majority just amuses me. Don't be a part of the herd, be original and break away from the herd. It is way more fun!!!

Lose streaks need a better fix. you should be losing like a lot less points than more like 10 points not 100

There's a whole litany of issues in the Crucible right now but I think what makes the Crucible feel so terrible is that they haven't made any major changes in such a long time. And I think their sandbox philosophy needs to change. Their working with the idea that "We don't want to ruin someone's favorite weapon" but I think it's perfectly fine. You need to have massive, game changing nerfs/buffs in order to keep the game feeling fresh. Don't worry about the people who will complain if you put OEM in the trash bin, or if Dust Rock finds a permanent home in the vault. Just change things. Period.

1 RispondiScouts are not in a bad place. People are just using the wrong ones. May I suggest Garden Progeny 1?
-
2 RisposteI disagree. I find PVP some of the most balanced it has been in regards to weapons since even D1. Yes there are weapons that clearly shine in given situations compared to others, but your equipment isn't locked on PVP at all right now. I will change builds depending on the situation and my play style as well if necessary. Most of the balance/imbalance argument anymore lies with abilities and classes. If you keep running into the fray using the same tactic that gets you killed over and over, thats your fault. Weapons don't make the player do work, the player makes the weapon do work.

I've bend using the war rig with the new raid auto. Super dirty lol
-
Not the worst but definitely needs an update.
-
The worst? You crazy. Downvoted.
-
Whats wrong with it. Dont you like shotgun apes and supers that last 1 min
-
13 RisposteShould probably start by taking a look at the overwhelming amount of Hunters wearing Stompees while also using a shotgun too.. Surely it must be obvious to Bungie by now.
-
I think the biggest problem crucible has is the whiny ass players who are never happy with it, myself. Why I stopped bothering with it after D1.

Modificato da Krantzstone: 7/6/2019 10:08:22 PMHeh I got thrown into two matches that were losing in progress: managed to get to second from top scorer on my team and even out the score somewhat, but nothing I can do against being thrown into a losing match against a 6-stack when the game decides to prematurely mercy, even though I'm wrecking the 6-stack who are playing in the most cheesy way possible. ;( At the very least, if the game is going to throw me into a loss-in-progress game, don't mercy the game before I get my chance to wreak my revenge on the opposing team who've been running roughshod over my team of randos before I arrived. :P

1 RispondiOh you mean recluse simulator ? Yeah it could definitely be changed . I can’t even imagine how awful it will be once ppl have intellect builds in shadow keep on top of 5 super mods . Lol rip gunskill
-
Actually i think this is the best D2 has been. Supers and super mods need a nerf. Maybe make grenade/melee/paragon mods more worthwhile? Idk. I'll agree with you there. Otherwise tho i think the weapons are pretty balanced. People just keep using the few items they know are for sure good and don't take risks on weapons and playstyles that don't have blatant payoffs. 300rpm side arms like drang are pretty ridiculous. You didn't mention Erentil. ARs are decent with a good roll. 150 scouts are good. Just gotta step outside the box

Modificato da Divine_Majin93: 7/6/2019 8:47:24 PMTo be honest, it's quite a varied meta from what I can gather. What causes a lot of stir is simply that people who make it their sole purpose in life to win at crucible naturally use the hardest hitting weapons. They use them all the time. Because why play PvP if not to win? Even I am guilty from time to time. Especially in comp. I just want my Mountaintop suffering to be over. But that's the problem. No matter what they do, Destiny or any game for that matter, will always be numerically balanced. When competition is involved, those who wish to win more than they lose will always take the best numerical advantage. This is quite a varied meta. But only the Guardians who show up to win will have a generally favorable experience. Edit: spell check

4 RisposteEh I still personally think RoI was the worst for PvP

3 RisposteThe crucible has never been good.

1 RispondiI’d just like to see their connection speed bars again.

5 Rispostepvp will always have it's issues. It sucks. I think it would be better if all abilities on all classes could be modded to your main character. For instance, I'm a warlock. I hate flying around like an asshole after I jump once. Give me a node to unlock a double jump. Maybe kill 200-500 hunters in pvp unlocks this node. Doing so, consumes your victims energy or abilities. Or let me unlock the very annoying shoulder charge on my warlock. Or give me an ability like evade which helps out sooooo damn much in battle. You guys can have the void melee, I really don't care, it's the only warlock ability that is somewhat good or too good. But rarely procs like it should. If you want to use a scout rifle. You change your game play. Problem with a scout rifle user, they want to press the action/pace of the game, so they go in head strong. You can't do that with long range weapons. You'll lose more than not. Jade rabbit is very good, so is mida multi tool. But you need to sit back. Also recommend playing like a shotgun turd and crouch near an area that get's a lot of action, but you are at a distance from everyone. I've done this before and was mapping kids with the jade rabbit and ended up having a really good game. Submachine guns. Try pillager. That thing melts faster than the recluse up close. But 10-15 feet away. It drastically turns into a piece of shit. I was using it yesterday and was shocked how fast I was killing people with it. But then I started shooting at them at distance and it's terrible. Sidearm. Check mine out on my character. You get this roll, put on the mod and push the pace and have a decent strife game. It's the most fun you'll have in the game. It's all I use. Against a team, it can be hard to compete though cause if 2 or more people are around. You'll get melted without killing a lot of the times. But in 1v1, The odds are in your favor. Auto rifles. Suros is decent. But the sweet business is SWEET! Yesterday I played with it and got 35 and 33 kills in my game and it was solely sweet business kills. No melee, no sniper, all sweet business. You have to keep the gun fired up though so when you see someone, the bullets start flying sooner than later. Also, it maps at pulse rifle/scout rifle range. If you try it, Stick with it. Don't lose a 1v1 battle one time and consider it a piece of shit. You have to get used to how it feels. Spawn points need to be fixed in the game. Maps need to be slightly larger. Pvp feels pretty good other wise.

3 RisposteIts not a good experience getting super chain killed by not just one person but by 3-4 people in the midst of having a decent game and it becoming a trainwreck quickly. Once supers come in the matches start going lopsided at that point, gunfights don't feel impactful anymore, instead its which team got more orbs off their teammates?
-
3 RisposteRemoved, Crucible needs to be Removed. Kit based PVP based on high TTK weapons that are mostly gained through RNG, is a fundamentally terrible concept. On top of that the ults are in no way equal, and the ability to charge said ults doubly so.
