Edit: fixed the title, , i love being dumb as bricks sometimes, or most of the time.
- Some entire weapon class's are not viable, and take an extraordinary amount of extra skill to succeed in (Examples are Scout Rifles in general, Sub-machine guns that are not Recluse, Side-arms that are not 3-Bursts, Linear sion Rifles, Auto Rifles, ect.)
- Maps that are short ranged have objectives that are also short-ranged, and / or long-ranged optional areas, making slide-shotgunning just the best option for most engagements
- Every class has a super that can kill you twice with one activation, combined with super mods make most game-modes feel like Mayhem
- Some Grenade's are completely outclassed in the crucible by others (You are NOT using a Voidwall grenade on a Sentinel Sub-class, you are NOT using a Tripmine instead of Swarm Grenades or an Incendiary Grenade, and Fusion grenades are almost always outclassed)
- Some Exotics are either too powerful, or other options are just bad (You warlocks ain't going to use Verity's Brow, Eye of another World, and Winter's Guile; Hunters aint using Mechaneer's Tricksleeves, Young Ahamkara's Spine, or Lucky Rasbperry, and Titans aren't going to use Actium War Rig, Mask of the Quiet One, and Eternal Warrior, while NOBODY will use the Aeon Gauntlets)

5 RisposteThe one shot tactics are what breaks it. Primaries are completely pointless.

Modificato da SIERRA - 117: 7/8/2019 3:11:16 AMI'm a little late to this party but I can tell you from personal experience, that it seems as though when playing crucible, it's as if the game wants you to rely more so on special and power weapons instead of feeling comfortable with your own loadout and preferences. I understand that in general special and heavy weapons are more powerful than your primary weapons, but its ridiculous how once you get a kill with a special weapon then you can literally just farm special ammo rinse and repeat. Now a part of me sees nothing wrong with that because this is combat. Its not always meant to be a fair fight, its about winning. However, primary weapons that shoot primary ammo should be used for what they are intended for and that is to be your go-to weapon when facing a hostile. I dont really see anything wrong with ammo dropping from corpses, but I do agree that the ammo drop for both special and heavy needs to lowered and it needs to be earned in my opinion. Like what if they had a system in place where every 3-5 or so kills with a primary, special ammo drops. All in all there needs to be a midpoint and balance where primary weapons will always be your go-to weapon to fight, but finding that special and heavy ammo allows you to get the kill faster however, the special and heavy ammo need to drop less and be earned. Special weapons need to feel more so like back-up emergency weapons because you are getting cornered and need to blast your way through. Power weapons need to feel more like a treat and used to gain the upper hand against the enemy.

3 RisposteThe servers need updating first and foremost. The peer to peer connection idea is terrible and it will NEVER work. Do we need -blam!-ing streamers to tell them that they need to update the servers for something to be done too? Just like the OG D2 weapon system took them talking about that? It seems that no action will be made on anything as major as matchmaking or servers or ANYTHING until Bungie talk with the important people about what they want. We already know matchmaking is exactly as they want it so it will not change, to change it would be to upset the few elite players for the benefit of oh, the entire playerbase. It won't happen.

2 Rispostepvp is awful at the moment it requires little or no skill i have never felt at more of a disadvantage for just running primaries and wanting to enjoy some gun play in a shooting game and win on merit it is to easy to put on a no skill no talent loadout on and just run around pressing the win button its a joke the only good thing in pvp at the moment is that if this stupid ridiculous meta continues at some point it will have to be changed the sooner the better
-
1 RispondiJust get rid of it. It is a pointless, useless pile of dog sheit.
-
5 RisposteI’d just like to stop dying behind cover
-
4 RisposteSomebody tell me why they remove the feature to see who is in the matchmaking with you? Seem like an important feature.
-
2 RisposteWhat they need to do is make a no supers no exotics playlist and call it skill only. Seems like that's all everyone relys on it get kills is overpowered exotics and supers. Take those away be a whole nother game.
-
2 RisposteModificato da Untallied: 7/7/2019 5:51:22 PMYou are absolutely right. Balance has been completely throw out of the window. Supers running rampant stomping everything. Super mods let you get 3 or 4 supers a game without much killing. Add in no new pvp content for like a year. Crucible is just so stale and it seems like Bungo doesn’t care. At least we don’t have to use 2 primaries though.
-
2 RisposteI think out of all the "problems" Crucible has, Matchmaking is the worst of all of them. Too many end with the whole "We're breaking up those teams....". When you look at the overall performance of the teams, the winning team had 4 or 5 players with efficiency of 1.7+ to beyond, while the losing team maybe had 1 positive efficiency and the rest sub 1.0. When all players were solo, there is no reason the teams couldnt have been split a little better. I want to see edge of my seat, neck to neck battles more often.
-
3 RisposteIdk, right now is way better than the dust rock, Luna’s, wardcliff, spectral blades only meta before opulence
-
Young ahamkara spine is actually broken with how much grenade ene4gy you get back. It also make the blast radius 180° you stack a couple of grenade mods. you get 33 % grenade energy back with ability hits so it’s pretty good
-
It's been broken from day one. Any "competitive" game that claims to have a built in 50/50 win/lose algorithm, is busted from conception.
-
It feels much better than the Lunas meta, I mean I'm getting killed by guns I've never used. PC seems a lot more diverse than console.
-
Load times are horrible. Pings are even worse. -There's to many one-shot abilities. -Supers need to be toned way down. -Maps are to shotgun-friendly. -Countdown makes me want to cut myself.
-
Many guns and combinations are viable besides auto rifles.
-
Hasn’t Bungie already said pvp is getting an overhaul soon? I think they said either with or soon after shadowkeep. Check the news thread.
-
It usually always is for potatoes....
-
Right now, the thought of crucible makes me want to jump off a cliff. Basically every match I spawn into are ongoing (on the losing team) and on Earth, some in which I don't even spawn into due to the team getting mercied like the 97-23. Getting spawn trapped drives me crazy cause you can't do anything. I mean, how much longer is it going to be before they address this sh!tshow?
-
5 RisposteOP list: Titans Ace of Spades Power Ammo spawn time
-
PvP could be 100xs better if console players were given the option to change the X and Y values for movement and ADS seperately. There needs to be better Sensitivity and Dead Zone options so players can react to the fast paced environment known as Crucible.
-
No new pvp maps i an eternity means I think Bungie has kinda given up on PVP tbh. No trials, no streams with notable views playing pvp...its just not engaging anymore and too many other games just do it much, much better now. D2 has kinda been left with its face in the dirt. Sad but true
-
1 RispondiSupers are actually a joke, the best way to counter them is to jump off a cliff so they cant make orbs..
-
bungie needs to fix everything around crucible... (long list incoming) people afking people botting people not caring (because of quest farm or w/e) people lagging (got matched with people from alaska while playing from chile, which is literally the other site of the -blam!-ing planet) people teleporting people not receiving dmg (by a whole team of 6 people from different countries including blade barrage, spectral blades and golden gun) people getting ddosed people not getting banned while being reported as shit people dying from jumping in the air people getting killed from people of the other site of the map while not in clear sight people spawning besides enemies people spawning besides ultis people not getting punsihed for leaving in addition, titans with nearly infinite ulties, hunters not having a ohk melee, over 50% of exotics plain useless in PVP/PVE, maps exclusively featuring one gamestyle (shotguns), bad matchmaking, random wins/losses. the whole point of PVP (player vs player) is seeing how you good you can play against humans, but this most important part is just taken out, since winning or lossing is NOT determined by skill, rather than who has the better connection (mainly) and less shitty external problems. this literally takes the sense out of a "PVP" game! at this point, i prefer not having crucible at all, rather than having this disfunctional crucible!!! ever sawn or heard someone saying "yeah crucible is a really cool experience"?

11 RisposteI think, to a degree at least, there will always be strong points and weak points, but I think the biggest issue is that it just takes soooooo long for anything to be addressed. I mean how long have auto's been total garbage in pvp? Yet you still have silly things like the suros catalyst requiring 300 pvp kills. Yes you can 'technically' manage it but you'll absolutely tank any pvp stats you have and it will be a long and tedious road, for a weapon class that's massively uder par anyway. The reward just isn't worth the effort. Personally, I'm not a fan of the sniper meta either. I get this is totally subjective but often there's times in pvp where you're literally 1 shotted in .5 of a second from going round a corner by someone you can't even see. If there's no possibility of counter play, then I find litte fun in it. Some like it, and fair play to you if that's the case, but I personally find it more annoying than shotgun apes.
