Get something? Why do you want anything for playing the game? Is the game not worth playing without a carrot dangled in front of your face? Is it not [i]fun[/i]?

I like to spend my time on whatever I want, instead of doing this ultimately boring IB quest id prefer playing the raid, menagerie, gambit, crucible the way I see fit. This quest is simply idiotic to be limited for season of opulence only. I dont like that this game forces these “quests” on me, because if I see the requirements, I just dont care enough. The quest would be a lot better to stomach if the objectives were cut in half.

The only reason to complain about the [i]optional[/i] quest is because you want the carrot and you want it [b]now[/b]. There's no bait or implications, clown, it's plainly obvious. The quest is perfectly fine, and easily doable with the time allotted. You [i]literally[/i] don't even have to do the quest steps as they all count teammates or progress regardless of performance. If you wanted to play for fun with whatever loadout you like then there is [i]nothing[/i] preventing you from doing so even if you wanted the quest rewards.

You are a very rude person and also wrong. Please try to keep it civilized, because you dont even sound half as cool as you think you do. Again, you are implying. The reason I do not want the gear is because it is too much work to get it. Id rather play other stuff. I am just venting that if the quest were easier, I would have gone for it. The way it is right now, it is not worth it imo. It feels like faction rallies all over again and I didnt quite like that.

Like I care how you feel about me. Stop implying any implications, there are none. "I don't want the gear because it's too hard to get." That's not a reason to not want the gear that's a reason you don't want to earn it. The original poster claimed he just wanted to play IB for fun, this is the topic. The quest is perfectly optional, you literally don't even have to do anything to make progress, and if you're 750 IB is practically no different from quickplay control. You'd rather play crucible? That's funny because IB is crucible. The only reason to complain about the quest is because you want the gear and you want it now. It has nothing to do with wanting fun as nothing about the quest get's in the way of fun. Most posters I've seen said it takes about 12 hours of gametime to complete. ~45 minutes a day over 2 IB weeks is nothing, so stop "venting" and just do it, or -blam!- off and play something else already.
