Matchmaking is Atrocious
I'm just gonna put it simply. Fix your matchmaking. It's so unbalanced and frustrating when you're trying to go up in comp rank when you get matched with four hunters who are all spec. blades or getting matched with people that literally like just made an account. Please fix it. I can't go up at all, and I don't think I'm the only one suffering from your horrible matchmaking.

4 RisposteThere is no place in this game for mid to low skill/experience players who don't have a full fireteam of friends to play with. Bungie is saying, in no uncertain terms: "Be a hardcore Destiny player with years of experience or play another game. Casuals or people who would like to develop as a Destiny player are not welcome here." New players or those who want to get better can't learn the ropes in Quickplay; it's far more sweaty than even comp. The way I see it, Bungie had a choice: make a game that everyone can play through fair matchmaking and risk actually challenging the top players, or let them keep stomping new players so they can feel good about themselves. I think we all know what they chose.

4 RisposteI laugh at spectral blades now- with my Titan Peregrine Greaves! Nothing more satisfying than hearing the blade pop around the corner only to be suddenly shut down with a swift aerial knee to the face!

Git gud. *sarcasm Seriously though, the cheating in comp is rampant and I’m really shocked as it’s getting worse with each new season. Aimbots. DDOSing. Network manipulation. Win-trading...that or you get matched against people on the other side of the world. You get one good game where your shots are perfect and then the next you’re dying behind walls or your kills are popping up late. It’s sad and oh so obvious. It’s just a game, people! Stop gatekeep-cheating and let people have their Luna! Lol

Matchmaking goes by rank. If someone on your team is at 5000 and you're at 0 Youll match with other 5000 rank players. Also just because they run spectral blades doesn't make them high rank/high skill players

10 RisposteIt will get worse if they allow cross play with the pc players. But if they only allow cross play with only xbox and ps4 players it would be fine. The pc players should never be allowed to play against console players. Not saying its happening but they didn't say it wasnt on the table. So yea the amount of sweatshops basement dwelling players in crucible is redicules.

1 RispondiNo youre not. I went on an 8 game win streak last week. Ranking up. Everything was mostly even matched. Then BOOM!! I lost 22 games in a row. No fu@*÷kin clue what was going on. Still dont. I am no noob. Ive been playing this f&*#ckin game for 5 f<*#ckin years. Nothing has been on track since. It doesnt matter what i run. Subclass doesnt matter. Weapons dont matter all masterworked armer sets dont f*%*kin matter. Hey Destiny game makers.... F*#"K YOU!!!! FIX THE F&#KIN GAME!!!

Back in late D1 the more skilled players cried about them wanting to "relax and have fun in the crucible, and not have to sweat every game" (aka "remove every hint of SBMM"). And, the streamers cried about their need to have more massacre videos, to impress the tubers. So... He's simply playing the game as intended. Although, I did feel sorry for the other 11 players.

This is a direct result of longtime solo players leaving the game. You are stuck playing with newbs and sweats. 🤷♂️

If competitive crucible is for competitive modes and play styles. The best of the best so to speak. Every point matters and so on. Why am I matched with level 10s with blue armour and weapons. Regardless of skill, they ain’t even unlocked their full supers yet.

I get gunned down from 30 feet away by drb but last night I shoot a titan in the face point blank range and he's unaffected. Bungie needs to realize they peaked with Halo and give up on PvP. honestly about 2 more jumping puzzles and I'm about done with them in general. PvP is awful, everything stomps in PvE and all they can do is cheesy mechanics and jumping puzzles.

5 RisposteI do agree. I'm helping a friend get Recluse and there are times we play people as low as 600 when we're ~1700 atm. It's completely one sided and I feel bad that they even could be matched with us. I know it's early in the season and it's full of 4 stacks but give it some time then jump back in it. Give them time to get the points they need and move on bud. When I did my solo queue last season for Luna and Recluse I waited till mid season when other things dropped and went from there.

6 RisposteYou do know that Bungies pvp algorithms promote a 50% win/loss ratio? Yeah, the better players, especially in teams, will have a greater win ratio but Joe Average will be put on bad teams or have bullshit server/lag/shots not hitting around 50% of the time. I'll put money on many of use can recall many many many matches where shots don't register and the enemy has killed us behind walls.

3 RisposteI grabbed 3 friends and a few hours later we hit the 2100 points for recluse and we had to keep playing because we didn't get the wins so it sounds like user error that is causing you to lose
