I can understand the change to Mag howl damage, but changing to a 150?
You’re making a big mistake and I guarantee this will be the last straw for a lot of dedicated players, myself included who worked their butt off to get their NF.
This change in particular is crapping on ALL console players where bloom on HC’s is a big issue.
Bad, bad move.

This change should only have been for Luna and leave nf how it is.

7 RisposteBelieve it or not (you probably won’t) the casual community is what holds the game together most of the time and is the foundation of the playerbase. And this change, although minor in the grand scheme of things, will likely make the casual pvp experience (if there is such a thing) more enjoyable for those players.

Close the door on your way out

This will drive down the prices everyone pays to get them.
-
Other way around for me tbh I don't like the nerfs either way, but I would rather it be a 150 precision farme HC, but still keep the original MH perk

14 RisposteModificato da ImStillCasual: 4/26/2019 6:20:33 AMService Revolver with Kill Clip is going to dominate. Erentil is going to wreck house too. LH won’t be able to compete against anyone competent using either one. So the convo will change to players feeling like they can’t compete because of RNG not giving them a God Roll SR or Erentil.
-
And as usual PC players are left behind. NF/Luna never where a problem on PC - Ace is just better. But Recluse of course is a bane in the crucible, but it is only a PC problem so nobody cares...
-
I think the bigger problem is that by just changing the archetype it somehow nerfs the gun. I also think it's disgusting to change a weapon to another weapon type for balance after people got used to it. Reduce the range accuracy and damage to zero if you want, but dont make it a different gun altogether.
-
Just make them exotics or remove them from the game. If you Nerf them it ruins it for all who worked for them or have been working for them.
-
This is part of the reason why there’s no point in me grinding for weapons: by the time I get them they are nerfed to hell. Is there really no other way to balance this game without nerfing the shiznit out of powerful weapons and abilities? What happened to that vidoc where they said they were done nerfing and were just letting the power fantasy go wild to the point of breaking the game? If they’re that worried about balance then just make the competitive playlist have rotating locked loadouts and restricted abilities. Everyone just uses the meta in those playlists anyway.
-
4 RisposteIts just gonna push a Service Revolver/Recluse/Wardcliff meta. I don't have LH/NF, and I don't plan on taking the time to get them - I don't have the temperament to make it that far in competitive without breaking half my shit. That being said, I don't agree with the nerf. Its slapping the people who earned them legit directly in their face (-blam!- anyone who did a recovery or lobby manipulation though; I hope those pieces of shit get crabs in their assholes). The gun doesn't make the player - a week after this patch the message boards will be up in arms about whatever the new meta is. Nobody wants to learn to counter guns and it's more frustrating than getting train wrecked by a 6 stack of LH/NF/DRB/Wardcliffs. Everyone's old friend Graviton is a great counter to all of that nonsense so long as you hang back. Take note scrubs (coming from a scrub, mind you). Bad move, Bungo.

6 RisposteJust because a weapon is grinded for does not make it exempt from nerfs/adjustments
-
so bungie already lost almost 60% players on pvp because quickplay is not fun anymore and they want to bring those players back

5 RisposteModificato da Guardian1857: 4/26/2019 8:33:21 AMOh no! A pair of legendary hand cannons that were performing better than almost all other weapons (including many exotics), and then people are surprised it got nerfed? This is also yet another reason I miss Halo 3’s PvP...everyone had the same weapons - BR, Sniper, etc - and the person with the most skill won, not to mention there was no worry about getting a unique weapon via RNG or grinding then it getting nerfed.
-
4 RisposteHonestly, I am glad they made the change. Since I started grinding for that gun I have had all the fun sucked out of the game. Now I can just go back to playing other activities and enjoy the game again. Sucks for the people who grinded hard to get it and I feel sympathy for them. However, some of the reactions to this news is OTT and embarrassing.

3 RisposteI like seeing the WEEKS of effort I put in to get my luna ( in first season you could get it ) is being rewarded.... G -blam!-ing G bungo...... Thank you...... Serious question here... But are you trying to get rid of the console pvp players that are left? I mean I get that PC playerbase is laughably small but do you think getting rid of most of the people that enjoy pvp on console is a legit way to balance the numbers???? Whoever had the idea to nerf like this clearly doesn't give 2 -blam!-s about the pvp players. Again thank you for ruining the fun I have in pvp.
-
2 RisposteTime to find another crutch. Lol
-
64 RisposteWhat I don't get is, some people say Lunas and Not Forgotten ruin their PvP experience, then Lunas owner swear that "it's not the gun, we could use anything and be just as good", so now that that claim is being put to the test, why is it an issue? Wouldnt a Lunas at 150rpm with bloom be considered "anything"? Are you saying that out of all the Comp players that claim a Lunas wouldnt make someone better, they were all wrong?
-
2 Risposte140 rpm ?... dosent that mean it will be a 2 tap
-
The last round of nerfs hit PvE hard. Welcome to the club.
-
7 Risposteqp should be place to relax and have fun maybe after this nerf it is
-
7 RisposteNope they are opening PvP back up to an enormous playerbase who don’t have the time or ability to get LH/NF and don’t want to spend their time getting stomped in quick play by sweat teams. Also if there was an exotic gun, which could have been picked up in the general exotic loot pool that performed as well as either of these guns the hardcore PvP community would have had it nerfed into the ground months ago.
-
Looks like a buff to me. Will be easier to flick head shots in imo

Elton John is apparently renaming one of his songs to commemorate this Nerf. Instead of “candle in the wind” the new title is “Lunas in the bin”. 😂😂😂
