Just curious
Edit: It was pointed out to me that I should be more specific. I mean enhancement cores removed from infusion, not everything
Edit 2: just wanted to clarify, I am not for enhancement cores being removed from infusion. I really don’t care, I have plenty enough for my needs. I was just curious how many people were like me, and how many people really wanted them removed

4 RisposteI voted Yes, but at this point, I don't really give a shit if Bungie removes them from infusing or just shoves them up their rectum. I've wanted them removed for 5 months, and it hasn't happened. I'm at 700 on all 3 of my characters, so I feel that everyone else should suffer through the grind as I had to.
Just curious Edit: It was pointed out to me that I should be more specific. I mean enhancement cores removed from infusion, not everything
Without enhancement cores people might play the content they enjoy and actually enjoy themselves..... We can't have that!

1 RispondiModificato da vincam83: 4/9/2019 4:01:18 AMNo. They should be more attainable. They SHOULD do away with world materials. They are terrible. No one really farms them they just buy them with glimmer and shards. All they do is take up inventory space.

--increase more ways to get cores/increase the amount we get from the sources we already have. --Cease the doubling of Spider's cores --Remove Infusion from Weapons and Armor... --However, keep the Masterwork system. Using cores to make your favorite weapons/armor stronger.
-
Yes, please. I have many items I’d like to “masterwork” but can’t because I have to hold on to “masterwork” cores for infusion.😡
-
Needs to be removed from infusion. The current progression system just means instead of Masterworking my gear I hoard cores because I'll need them for infusion. I've literally Masterworked 1 piece of armor since Forsaken. And Spider's bounty take me outside the main gameplay loop.

2 RisposteA better way to get them would be nice. Like getting them from strikes, gambit, raids, etc... Anything else that gives powerful gear. You can either choose the gear or EC. Dailies give 1-2, Weeklies give 3-4. That would be plenty.

Modificato da Tennman73: 4/9/2019 2:27:08 AMAt least improve access to them.
-
Yes, just remove them from infusion is all we’re asking for. :)
-
Removed from infusion. The sources should all stay and it should be for masterworking.
-
Yes Yes Yes Yes They need to go, they should only be for their original purpose which is masterworking.
-
Remove from infusion, reserve these for masterworking weapons and armor only.
-
1 RispondiProvide more sources.. thatll give reasons to do a strike, public events, kill wanted enemies, etc etc...

Felt like leaving this here.

4 RisposteA forum done right thank you, providing the votes and let the facts speak for themselves.

3 RisposteThey need removed from infusion most definitely. Adding more sources would alleviate the problem of their scarcity and impact on infusion, but creates other problems. Bungie is actually confused on how their own progression system works. It's a little embarrassing really. The current system is set up so that gear score has zero bearing on actual strength. When we infuse our gear it isn't impactful at all because of this. There are two types of progression found in this game. Let's call them "more strong" and "less weak". "More strong" is when you increase a stat, value, or the ability of your gear to become more powerful. Masterworking gear and mods belong to this system. These decisions are impactful. This is a true endgame grind. "Less weak" on the other hand is when you pass a certain threshold so that you're capable of effectively doing certain activities. Infusion and gaining levels(why do we even have levels anymore) are examples of this. Because of nature of our gear score not providing us real power infusion is not impactful. Grind and chase are important because they give you more reasons to play, but the overall number is irrelevant. So increasing the sources for cores eases up the grind for real endgame content, establishing builds and fleshing out characters. This creates a new problem. The only real solution is to remove cores from infusion. The cost without cores is actually high enough that's it's sustainable without them anyway.

4 RisposteModificato da Seraph: 4/8/2019 5:18:04 PMYes. A large part of the appeal of playing Destiny/Destiny 2 is finding interesting new loot. Being ‘forced’ to make an impactful choice about what I can keep relevant, diminishes my enjoyment in acquiring new loot, which diminishes my desire to keep playing Destiny/Destiny 2. I want to be able to go into my vault, or my collection tab, and pick different weapons for different gameplay scenarios, not be stuck with one constant loadout. Having options isn’t a bad thing, and it boggles my mind that so many people are against it in a game that’s supposed to pride itself in its loot pool.

6 RisposteWatch out they might silence your post. They get touchy on the subject.

2 Rispostemore sorces to get them wouldnt fix the problem
-
Modificato da vaylon1701: 4/8/2019 11:55:52 PMAt this point, I don't think anything with cores will help the game much. Too many players are leaving. Fixing them now is a bit late for most. Something that should have been taken care of a while back. Like when the community screamed about it and Bungie said "were listening". How'd that work out?
-
Oh my god, a constructive post about cores, you are my savior
-
1 Rispondistop infusing every time you get a piece a gear or weapon and you people wouldnt have problems with the lack of cores. personally doesnt bother me
-
4 RisposteAt this point I wouldn’t mind if they kept cores but dialled the world material cost down and added a lot more sources to it
-
30 RisposteEveryone’s on this remove them train, try playing the game majority of people who do have stacks like myself just get good

2 RisposteModificato da W33DEDPLAGUE: 4/8/2019 11:00:20 PMI don't think it's a great system but it's really only an issue for a couple of weeks for anyone who actually plays the game semi-regularly. It's not this absolute game-breaking proper that people make it out to be but it could certainly be improved. It isn't having an 'impactful" effect and is simply a nuisance. If they want infusion to be impactful, they need to come up with a different system for doing so.

11 RisposteModificato da Haunter: 4/8/2019 10:39:01 PMNo real need to be honest 3 easy reasons why 1. You dont need to have powerful gear equipped to get max power drops. 2. The only thing you need max power for currently is reckoning. 3. Being max power in unnecessary activites simply caps you and you deal no more damage to enemies then if you were at the required light So if you love ace of spades you can use it across every activity and not be handicapped for it, you can use your favorite gear and be just fine in every activity When you are ready to run tier 2 or 3 reckoning you infuse 3 choice weapons and 1 exotic armor (costing you around 8 cores) and do it. When you hit max power you infuse your favorite set of armor and weapons up costing you 16 cores. Total cost with running reckoning before 700 power includes = 24 cores. That's no alot. It costs more to masterwork a single weapon then to infuse an entire set of 5 armor and 3 weapons. If anything the masterwork cost should be lowered, infusion cost doesn't need it The only people I can see having a core problem are either: A) New players, easily resolved by doing the bounties by drifter that get you to 640 then you're in the same boat as every other player and just need to get 24 cores B) Players that have OCD and must infuse thier favorite item into their +3 light drop for no reason, they dont need it power wise as they can continue to run with thier favorite item at 3 less light for anything not-reckoning, it's simply because they see something they can infuse and suddenly have to. That being said I couldn't care less of they remove it or not, but examining it realistically there is no real need to do so
