Now before you castigate me about how Gambit Prime is a breath of fresh air to Gambit or something like that, hear me out: Nearly every game of Gambit Prime I've played, I've lost. Not due to me having the worst possible matchmaking where it expects me to carry any game (which I can't), but I swear there's some kind of cheap strategy brewing that gives players a false sense of security. Here's what I've noticed: After getting totally wiped and losing nearly everything but their dignity, the enemy team just decides to do nothing, acting as though they've given up. This pretty much gives our team no reason to use the invasion portal other than to be a dick to the enemy, completely wasting invasion opportunities. Once we summon the Primeval, the enemy team remembers "Hey we're in a game of Gambit!" and start to play. They continuously bombard us with Large Blockers because they know we cannot invade them and ruin their day. And while all of that is going on, the enemy invader [i]consistently[/i] wipes us out somehow, some way, effectively undoing all of the Primeval damage we do during supercharged light opportunities. We have a Primeval summoned. They have 0 motes. And [b]FOR SOME ****ING REASON[/b] they're able to pull a comeback out of their posteriors from the absolute largest setback I've ever seen. I just don't know what's worse: The fact that you can still win despite this deficit or that I always seem to be on the receiving end of it... I acknowledge that this is a more team-oriented form of Gambit and that it's easier to play with a group, but to me, they're just 3 random solo queue people I just so happen to be banded with. I'm not a team player and if I know that is a game cannot be won, I'm gonna act like a god damn sociopath and sabotage my team's [i]chances [/i] of winning in order to expedite the process Say what you will to chastise me; I'm not gonna care or see your viewpoint.
