Keep D2 PvP alive
Up vote if you value PvP in destiny 2 and would like to see bungie continue to put resources toward it.
No specific feedback here. The point is just to hopefully show PvP is valued by a large part of the community. I play all the D2 content and have all 3 classes and enjoy it all, but PvP is what keeps D2 alive for me.

I just wish the matchmaking was regional and that the netcode wasn’t the shitstain that it is... I play a lot of pvp but all too often it becomes unenjoyable almost instantly when you have deal with all the lag related bullshit on a regular basis.

Game had become too comic book nerds and lost its self. Unless you have parents/financial benefactor you can't put the time in to enjoy.

But the hate on here for it not being attainable in pve would be brutal. I'd to see some really tough but soloable steps like finish a game with a 15.0 kdr and play 20 total games without dieing to a super.

I go in there and the game forces me into 3 consecutive Clash matches. It's beyond ridiculous that I can't even choose what mode I want to play. What other PvP from a AAA company doesn't let you pick your game mode? This PvP seems like a game created in 2009, not 2019. Players can say what they want about Call of Duty, but they make 2019 Bungie look like amateurs. For years they have given players a lot more options and control on how you want to play PvP.

Pvp has got me through the Destiny content droughts over the years especially when I was really into the game. I don’t play enough to be remotely competitive now days though. Keep pvp.

1 RispondiFix the matchmaking system where premades play equal sized premades and solos play equal proportions of solos in Quickplay. If you feel the need to bring up the time you and a few randoms beat a premade you are missing the point. If you enjoy the 3 matches of farming solo noobs so our team can 'Practice' then you are not only missing the point you are seed of the problem.

I enter QP Crucible when I can to basically get my powerful gear engrams. Normally after 10mins I’m gone. Maybe I play a few games if I am having fun trying different load outs. Regardless, I need to “git gud” or suffer the meta. Unfortunately, the game play makes little to no sense. How is it possible to give hand cannons and shotguns more effective range than sniper rifles? It is just dumb. So Bungie dedicate as much or as little resources to the game as you like both PVE or PVP. But make the game make sense. That’ll cure the current META.

PVP needs dedicated servers! This would improve game play. There should also be a same weapon class competitive that would be skill based on not armor and pinnacle weapon that would draw a crowd. Personally I hate going up against those who are better equipped not much fun. Dedicated servers would eliminate or at least lessen the hackers and cheaters.

But when i do go on D2 PVP i wouldn`t call it dead only takes seconds to get a game. When i go on D1 PVP it still has players but can take a few minutes to get a game. Just needs dedicated servers IMO.

Let this version of PvP die. Fix it and then revive it. Just a few ideas, pick and choose as you want. Replace the rotating modes with every mode being available to choose from the director. Fix Matchmaking. Fixed loadouts in comp. Rift. Revert back to D1 stats. (Top 1% in suicides...I love a good accidental back off the cliff fall to my death) Etc, etc.
