We know that Nightfall Strikes and Escalation Protocol have a smart loot system where every time you complete one of those activities without a drop the drop rate increases for the next time.
Can we please have this kind of system implemented into the RNG items required for the titles?
Specifically, I've heard many players talking about many, many, many completions of certain activities and not ever getting items like the following:
Strange Terrain Rocket Launcher for Wayfarer
Corrupted Pulse Rifle for Cursebreaker
Ascendant Challenge Ghost Shell for Cursebreaker
Shattered Throne Ship for Cursebreaker
Last Wish Sparrow for Rivensbane
Last Wish Ship for Rivensbane
It's one thing to want players to have to complete an activity multiple times before they get an item, but it's another to have completed every chance you can ever do for an item and 6 months later still not have the item. These Seals/Titles have really cool pins available from Bungie Rewards, but they expire in August. We are half way to that deadline and many of these items seem completely unobtainable for many players.
I personally have done 75 Ascendant Challenges and 24 runs through the Shattered Throne (every single chance available) and do not have the Ghost Shell or the Ship for Cursebreaker.
I think everyone can agree that a Smart Loot System implemented for these Title RNG items would be a good thing. We already know you can do that for NF and EP, Bungie, can you please add these for the title items?

All required cometic items required for a title should be able to be earned by completing a triumph. For example: Ship - flawless or solo shattered throne Ghost - complete all ascendant challenge speed runs They could even keep the random in addition for those people that are persistent but not good enough to get the triumph

4 RisposteTitles should not based on RNG. Dumbest idea ever. I have no Titles. Could care less about them because they are dependant on luck not skill.

The ironic part is only pve has real RNG for titles but PvP is the one that really has no rng but pure skill so why is pve the scapegoat

Titles should not be tied to cosmetics and or specific weapon drops, they should be earned based off of completing the triumphs per the activity.

For the last 2 MONTHS, the only thing holding me back from cursebreaker is the ghost. I've also never gotten the braytech auto. Those two things are the only things holding me back from their respective titles.

2 RisposteThe smart loot system doesn’t work period ....... so why would you think that it would work for that

Definitely agree with increased drop rates of all items connected to titles. Increasing drop rates for each week that you miss out and each character stacks too. Solo Shattered Throne should have dropped the ship since the beginning. Only solo'd it myself fairly recently on my account and my dad's account but honestly it's not too bad if you really take your time so with practice I think anyone can do it. If people dislike that idea, maybe solo flawless should drop guaranteed and solo non-flawless should have a 50% drop rate that stacks with the increasing chance as normal. Start at whatever the drop rate is say 0.002% (for real tho 2%) and increase that by say, 3-5% each cycle, I'd say 5% seems fair since you're waiting 3 weeks for your 9 attempts across each character. Thoughts?

Items shouldnt be tied to titles, only completing events and challenges.

8 Risposte70 Strange Terrain runs...no Osprey. Where is this "protection" you speak of?

Probably should be smart rng for practically everything in the game, not just cosmetics and rare weapons for titles. Players are still trying to get exotics that have already been nerfed due to being too effective. This is just a formula for driving players with other entertainment options away from the game. In the larger picture, Bungie WILL need to monetize this game again in the fall of 2019. They too want to buy bigger houses and nicer cars. I expect at that time they will start being more amenable to all the players that have built up resentment for all of the anti-player aspects of the game. Watch it happen.

Their decision making just gives me a headache because it defies logic. If you set a cutoff date for a collectible item related to in-game achievement, it should go without saying that anyone who endeavors to complete that achievement, having exhausted every single opportunity to do so and meeting whatever skill requirements are necessary, should be able to. We didn't buy lotto tickets and this isn't the local bingo hall. I mean really, anyone trying to show off their pins can't show them off proudly as an achievement. It's a prize, they won theirs. Other people didn't. Next year just skip the middle man and raffle off the titles for charity.
